Study on the effect of job stress and supervision relationships on mental health of employees in mental health related institutions원문보기

This study analyzed the correlation and impact of mental health employees’s job stress and supervision relationship on their mental health of the employees. An online survey was conducted among mental health social workers actively engaged in community mental health services to achieve this. The participants were 126 mental health social workers who had received training for over a year from institutions designated by the Minister of Health and Welfare and worked in mental health organizations. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the correlation analysis revealed significant relationships among job stress, supervision perception, and mental health among employees in mental health related institutions. Second, based on an examination of the influence of job stress and supervision relationships on mental health of mental health employees, it was found that the sub-factors of job demands and seeking safety, which are components of job stress and supervision relationships, significantly affect the sub-factors of mental health.
