문제 정의
교합성 외상이 치주질환을 일으키지는 않지만 임상적으로는 치주질환이 없는 환자의 특정 한 두개 치아에서 교합성 외상과 함께 치은퇴축이 관찰되는 경우가 빈번하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 치주질환이 없는 환자의 측방운동 시교합 간섭과 치은 퇴축량 치경부 마모 여부를 조사해 봄으로써 교합성 외상과 치은 퇴축과의 관계를 蜜归고하였다.
특히 치주질환이 없는 치아에서 교합성 외상(trauma from oc- clusion) 이 단독으로 작용할 때, 교합성 외상과 치은 퇴축과의 관계는 알려지지 않았다. 이번 연구에서는 치은 퇴축의 여러 원인들 중 교합성 외상과의 관계에 대해 일아보려 한다.

제안 방법
AccuFilm II 교합지를 이용하여 중심 교합을 적색으로 인기시킨 후 편심 운동을 남색으로 인기 시켰다 하악의 작업측 운동 시 작업측 치아의 협측 교두에서 중심 교합외에 남색으로 인기되는 부위를 측정하여 작업측 접촉 유무를 기록하였다. 반대편 비작업측에서는 상악의 구개측 교두와 하악의 협측 교두에서 남색으로 인기되는 비작업측 접촉을 기록하였다.
Williams probe를 이용하여 백악법랑경계에서치은연까지 0.5mm단위로 측정하였다. 구개측, 설 측에서는 치은 퇴축의 빈도가 매우 적어서 측정하지 않았고 순측의 가장 깊은 부위를 측정하여 기록하였다.

자료의 분석을 위해 첫 번째는 비작업측 접촉이 있는 군과 비작업측 접촉이 없는 군으로 분류하였고 두 번째는 작업측에서 작업측 접촉이 있는 군과 작업 측 접촉이 없는 군으로 분류하여 치은 퇴축과의유의성을 평가하였다. 또한 치경부 병소와 성별에 따른 치은 퇴축과의 상관관계도 평가하였으며 통계는 SPSS program을 이용하여 independent-t test를 시행하였다.
정상 높이를 가지는 건강한 치주조직에서 외상력이 치아의 치관에 설측, 근심측, 원심측, 협 측으로 가해지고 치아가 힘에 대해 이동할 수 없는 상황에서 실험하였다. 확실한 압력측과 긴장측이 나타나지 않으며 치아 양쪽에 압력과 긴장의 혼합이 나타났다.

대상 데이터
구강위생상태가 양호하고 구치부 보철물이 없는 환자, 치아배열이 정상인 환자, 치주질환이 없고(치주낭 3mm이내) 횡마법을 사용하지 않는 환자, 치주 수술 교정치료, 교합조정 치료의 경험이 없는 환자, 전반적인 치은퇴축을 보이지 않는 환자를 연구대상으로 하였다.
