"한 책"의 선정과배포, 독서와 토론, 프로그램의 진행 홍보, 지역사회의 참여와 협력, 예산과 사업 추진 등의 실천과정 전반을 분석한 결과는 지속적 독서진흥활동에 따른 지역사회 내 청주시립정보도서관의 인지도와 위상 개선, 독서와 토론에 대한 긍정적 인식 확산 등 성과와 더불어 재정적 문제, 홍보 및 지역사회 참여의 부족, 역할 분담의 어려움 등 문제점을 보여주었다.
