사회적 고립이란 무엇인가? | 사회적 고립은 사회적 상호작용을 제한하는 형태의 환경적 스트레스로 사람과 동물에서 모두 심리적으로 중요한 스트레스 원인으로 작용을 하며[28], 뇌 기능과 관련하여 신경세포 분화 및 생성, 신경영양성 인자의 발현 등을 억제하여 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려지고 있다[21,23,29]. 실제로 선행연구들을 살펴보면, 사회적 고립은 해마에서 NGF를 감소시킬 뿐만 아니라 Synapsin I 및 ChAT를 감소시켜 신경세포 분화 및 신경가소성에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 보고되고 있으며[15,20,35], 주의력 결핍 및 불안과 같은 행동장애와 신경 화학적 내분비계의 장애와 인지기능의 저하 같은 뇌의 다양한 기능장애를 유발하는 것으로 보고되고 있다[15]. | |
