Phage Display는 어떤 기술인가? | 본 연구에서는 독자적으로 피부 각질투과성을 가지는 peptide를 개발하기 위해서 peptide library에서 각질투과성이 우수한 peptide를 선별하기로 하였고 이를 위해서 phage display library를 사용하였다. Phage Display는 Phage의 표면에 다양한 peptide를 발현시키게 한 뒤, 특정 타겟에 잘 결합하는 peptide를 개발하는 기술이다. 원하는 peptide를 가지는 phage를 증폭할 수 있고, 염기서열을 분석하여 peptide의 아미노산을 확인 할 수 있는 장점이 있기 때문에, 타겟과의 결합하는 기능성 peptide를 선별하는 연구에 많이 이용되어왔다. |
