기혼여성의 취업증가는 무엇에 영향을 받았는가? 9%)의 맞벌이 가구 비율이 높은 것으로(Statistics Korea, 2014) 나타나 맞벌이 부부 가족이 보편적인 가족형태로 자리 잡고 있음을 알 수 있다. 기혼여성의 취업증가는 자녀교육비 및 생활비의 증가, 노후에 대한 대비 등의 경제적인 이유 뿐 아니라 자아실현의 욕구에 의한 것(H. Hwang & J. Shin, 2009)으로 보고되고 있으며, 개인에게 있어 자아실현을 위한 것으로써의 일의 중요성은 점점 더 커지고 있다. 또한 과거 직업적 성취를 중시하던 ‘일 중심적’ 가치관에서 최근 ‘개인과 가족생활을 중시하는 방향’으로 사람들의 가치관은 변화하고 있지만 경제적인 불안과 어려움이 계속되고 있어 현실적으로는 가족구성원들이 일에 더 전념하도록 요구받고 있다.
