영화의상 관객에게 어떤 것을 전달 해주는가? 영화의상은 영화의 배경이 되는 시공간적 배경을 설명하는 동시에 영화 속 주인공의 신분, 직업, 경제력, 가치관과 심리 등의 상징을 관객에게 전달하는 매개체이다. 영화의상은 캐릭터의 외형을 형성하며 내면을 직접적으로 표현하는 역할을 하여 캐릭터와 작품을 이해할 수 있게 도와주는 효과적인 표현 수단이 된다(Kim, 2009).
