현대 노마드 패션과 한국 전통복식에서 나타난 가변성의 차이점은 무엇인가? 다만, 전통복식은 사각형 옷감을 접어가면서 마름질하고 이를 휘고 비트는 방식의 구성적 유동성을 표현한 점은 한국 전통복식만의 독자적 표현원리라 할 수 있다. 가변성은 노마드 패션이나 전통복식 모두 결국 모듈성과 유동성을 통한 가변성이라는 공통점이 발견되나, 노마드 패션에서는 공기주입과 같은 장치를 통한 형태 변형에 따른 가변성이라 한다면, 전통복식에서는 형성된 비정형적 공간을 끈으로 여며주고 돌려줌으로써 착용자의 체형에 따라, 끈의 위치에 따라, 움직임에 따라 무한한 공간 변화를 발생시키는 것으로 가변성을 나타냄에 있어 차이를 알 수 있다. 탈영역(용도)성도 역시 노마드 패션이나 전통복식에서 모듈성, 유동성, 가변성, 탈영역성으로 단계별로 이루어진다는 것으로 동일하게 나타났으나, 노마드 패션에서는 다른 다양한 계열로서 역할을 할 수 있도록 재창조되어 영역적 변화를 볼 수 있는 반면에, 한국 전통복식에서는 의복으로서의 영역은 벗어나지 않는 용도적 변화만을 살펴볼 수 있었다.
