Purpose: This study aimed to verify the oral health behavior according to the oral health education experience and knowledge who visit public health center at Gyeonggi-do districts. Methods: The research has come into a survey from 2th on March to 27th on April 2018 on the youth and the century where is located in Gyeonggi-do public health centers. Results: There were statistically significant differences in the number of brushing, correct tooth brushing, and the use of oral aids in the presence of oral health education experience(p<.05). Oral health education has been shown to affect knowledge and behavior when oral health education experience is high. Conclusion: Periodic oral health education should be further strengthened, not once for the prevention of proper oral care and oral illness.

대상 데이터

2018년 3월 2일부터 4월 27일까지 경기지역의 A보건소와 B보건소를 방문한 청장년을 대상으로 진행하였다. 연구대상은 편의표본추출법에 의해 선정하였으며, 응답에 참여한 100명 중 누락 항목이 없는 75명을 최종분석 대상자로 하였다.

데이터처리

수집된 자료의 분석은 SPSS WIN 20.0 프로그램(SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA)을 이용하여 대상자의 일반적 특성 및 구강보건관련 특성, 구강보건지식에 대해 알아보기 위하여 빈도분석을 하였고, 구강보건교육경험 및 구강보건지식에 따른 구강보건행태를 알아보기 위해 교차분석을 실시하였다. 통계적 유의성 판정을 위한 유의 수준은 5%로 하였다.

성능/효과

1. 구강보건교육을 받은 경험자는 68.0%였으며, 구강보건교육을 받은 경험자들 가운데 '구강보건교육이 도움이 되었다'고 대답한 대상자는 88.2%로 높게 나타났다.
2. 구강보건교육경험 여부는 칫솔질 횟수, 올바른 칫솔질 방법, 구강보조위생용품 사용 여부 등에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<.05).
3. 구강보건지식도는 구강보건행태에 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않아, 구강보건에 관한 지식이 있다 하더라도 올바른 구강보건 실천에는 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다.

후속연구

이와 같이 구강보건교육경험이 있는 경우 구강보건실 천도가 높게 나타나 구강보건 교육이 구강보건행태에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 올바른 구강 관리와 구강병 예방을 위하여 일회성이 아닌 주기적이고 지속적인 구강보건교육이 강화되어야 할 것이다. 특히 교육 대상자의 호기심과 동기유발을 위해 영상교육프로그램 및 소셜미디어를 포함한 ICT(Information and Communication Technologies, 정보통신기술)를 접목한 교육 매체를 활용하는 등 급변하는 시대에 맞는 적극적인 교육이 이루어져야 할 것이다.
따라서 올바른 구강 관리와 구강병 예방을 위하여 일회성이 아닌 주기적이고 지속적인 구강보건교육이 강화되어야 할 것이다. 특히 교육 대상자의 호기심과 동기유발을 위해 영상교육프로그램 및 소셜미디어를 포함한 ICT(Information and Communication Technologies, 정보통신기술)를 접목한 교육 매체를 활용하는 등 급변하는 시대에 맞는 적극적인 교육이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

	올바른 구강건강관리가 중요한 이유는?	구강건강관련요인은 구강보건지식과 태도 및 실천에 큰 영향을 미치며, 개인의 구강건강관리에 긍정적인 신념을 주기 때문에 개인의 태도를 변화시키고 예방할 수 있다. 이러한 이유로 어린 시절부터 올바른 구강건강관리는 매우 중요하며(Moon et al, 2009), 구강건강 관련 요인은 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인으로 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위해서 구강건강관리는 강조되어야 한다(Cho et al, 2013).
