본 연구는 북한이탈 청소년의 자아분화, 대인관계와 사회적지지의 영향관계를 분석하고 자아분화와 대인관계의 관계에서 사회적지지에 대한 매개효과를 분석하여 북한이탈 청소년의 대인관계 질적 수준 향상을 위한 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 탈북학생 중에서 9세 이상 24세 미만인 자로 정하여, 2019년 11월 4일부터 12월 14일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 218부의 자료가 분석에 사용되었고, SPSS 23.0과 AMOS 23.0을 사용하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 북한이탈 청소년의 자아분화는 대인관계에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 북한이탈 청소년의 자아분화는 사회적지지에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 북한이탈 청소년의 사회적지지는 대인관계에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 북한이탈 청소년의 자아분화와 대인관계의 관계에서 사회적지지는 매개효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 북한이탈 청소년의 대인관계에 영향을 미치는 변인을 확인함으로써 직접적인 관계를 규명하고, 자아분화와 대인관계 간에서 사회적지지의 매개관계를 밝힘으로써 대인관계의 어려움을 겪는 북한이탈 청소년에게 자아분화와 사회적지지 수준의 증진을 통해 대인관계문제를 개선할 수 있음을 검증하는데 의의가 있다.

This study examined the influential relationship between self-differentiation, interpersonal relationships, and social support of adolescent North Korean defectors as well as the mediating effects of social support in the relationship between self-differentiation and interpersonal relationships. For this study, the participants were selected among student North Korean defectors aged between 9 and 24 years. With these participants, a survey was conducted from November 4 to December 14, 2019. Two hundred eighteen questionnaires were used in the analyses, which were conducted with SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0. The analyses yielded the following findings. The self-differentiation of the adolescent North Korean defectors had a positive impact on interpersonal relationships. The self-differentiation of adolescent North Korean defectors had a positive impact on social support, and the social support of adolescent North Korean defectors had a positive impact on interpersonal relationships. In the relationship between self-differentiation of adolescent North Korean defectors and their interpersonal relationship, social support had a mediating effect. This study showed that by improving the level of social support and self-differentiation of adolescent North Korean defectors, it would be possible to improve their interpersonal relationship issues.

제안 방법

하지만 이와 같은 연구들은 단순히 개인변인과 청소년의 대인관계 간에 인과관계만을 규명하는데 그치는 경우가많았으며, 청소년의 내재적 요인과 대인관계문제 사이에서 개인적인 요인의 매개효과를 검증한 연구는 많지 않았다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 대인관계 요인을 종속변수로한 구조적 관계를 규명하고자 한다.

대상 데이터

본 연구의 대상은 『북한이탈주민의 보호 및 정착지원에 관한 법률』에 명시된 청소년 기본법(9세 이상 24세미만)의 범위를 고려하여 북한이탈청소년 중에서 9세 이상 24세 미만인 자로 남한 적응교육기관인 ‘하나원’ 퇴소후, 고등학교에 재학하고 있는 학생을 연구대상으로 정한다. 그 이유는 북한이탈 과정에서 일반 학교 과정과 상이한 부분이 생길 수 있기 때문에 대학교에 재학·휴학인 학생은 제외하였다.

데이터처리

본 연구는 북한이탈 청소년의 자아분화, 사회적지지, 대인관계의 관계를 분석하기 위해 상관분석을 실시하였으며, 결과는 다음 [Table 3]과 같다. 분석결과 본 연구의 변수 간의 상관계수는 절대 값 0.
본 연구에서의 측정도구인 북한이탈 청소년의 자아분화, 사회적지지, 대인관계 요인의 신뢰도와 타당도 분석을 위하여 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 신뢰도 분석 결과, 자아분화, 사회적지지, 대인관계의도의 개념신뢰도인 CR(composite reliability: CR)과 평균분산추출지수인 AVE(average variance extracted: AVE)신뢰도 값이 각각 기준치인 0.
자료 분석을 위해 AMOS 23.0과 SPSS 23.0 통계프로그램을 사용하였으며, 가설검증을 위한 분석방법으로 구조방정식 모형을 사용하였다.

성능/효과

둘째, 북한이탈 청소년의 자아분화는 사회적지지에 유의한 영향을 미쳐 자아분화가 높을수록 사회적지지 수준 또한 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 북한이탈청소년의 자아분화 수준이 높을수록 사회적지지가 높아짐을 나타내는 것으로 해석할 수 있다.
셋째, 북한이탈 청소년의 사회적지지는 대인관계에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 가장 큰 영향력을 보이는 관계로 확인되었다. 사회적지지 수준이 높을수록 대인관계에도 더욱 긍정적임을 밝힌 본 연구의 결과는 사회적지지를 높게 지각할수록 대인관계에 대한 불안을 보다 낮게 경험하여[77], 또래관계에서도 긍정적일 수 있다고 밝힌 오난희(2003)의 연구결과와 일치하는데[69], 이러한 사회적지지는 개인 내적 변화를 촉구하여 대인관계문제를 보다 긍정적으로 지각하고 해결하도록 도울 수 있는 매개체가 될 수 있다.
첫째, 북한이탈 청소년의 자아분화는 대인관계에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 즉, 북한이탈 청소년의 자아분화 수준이 높을수록 대인관계 수준이 높아짐을 나타내며, 이는 조규판 외(2012)가 자아분화 수준이 낮은 사람은 자율성이 부족하여 고립되어 있거나 타인과 친밀한 관계를 맺는 것이 어렵다고 밝힌 연구결과와 일치한다[22].

후속연구

따라서 대상에 대한 다양한 관계의 연구가 제시되어함을 밝힌다. 마지막으로 비교연구 또는 종단연구를 수행함으로써 준거적인 기준을 통하여 차별성을 도출하고, 대상의 변화를 통한 실천적 개입에 대한 변화성을 제시함으로써 보다 더 의미 있는 연구가 진행되어야 할 것이다. ;
