혁신역량과 경영성과에 관한 연구: 기업 소재지별 다중집단분석

기업의 수도권 집중 현상은 지역 인구감소와 대한민국 수도권과 비수도권 간 양극화를 촉진한다. 특히, 비수도권 산업 경쟁력에 영향을 주고, 지역 경제·사회·문화 전반에 악순환을 일으킨다. 이에 본 연구는 집단별로 수도권과 비수도권 기업을 구분하여 기업의 혁신역량 요소들이 경영성과 창출에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 혁신역량 요소인 연구개발 역량과 개방형 혁신, 융합역량이 재무적 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 과정상 혁신 행동에 따른 조절 효과가 있을 것인지를 종합 실증하였다. 특히, 지역과 수도권이 공진화하는 데 가용한 정책적 도구를 도출하고자 집단별 분석을 시행했다. 표본의 직간접적 매개·조절 효과를 포함한 다중집단분석(MGA) 등 실증에는 Smart PLS 3.0을 활용했다. 분석 결과, 연구개발 역량은 경영성과에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않았지만, 융합역량과 개방형 혁신을 매개로 는 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 단, 경영성과에 미치는 영향력에 있어서 비수도권에서는 개방형 혁신의 효과성이, 수도권에서는 융합역량의 효과성이 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 특히 개방형 혁신 요인에 있어서는 전체적으로 수도권과 비수도권에 걸쳐서 집단별 차이가 통계적으로 명확한바, 비수도권의 개방형 혁신 실효성 제고를 위한 후속 대책 마련을 제안한다.
