임플란트 피개의치는 골 흡수가 심한 완전 무치악 또는 부분 무치악 환자의 구강 기능 회복을 위한 치료 방법으로 널리 사용되고 있다. Milled bar를 이용한 임플란트 피개의치의 경우 bar가 임플란트 고정체를 연결 고정하므로 기계적으로 유리하며, bar에 추가적으로 부착 장치를 적용하면 임플란트에 가해지는 응력을 분산시킬 수 있다는 이점이 있다. 본 증례에서는 4개의 임플란트를 사용하여 임플란트 피개의치를 사용하던 환자가 의치의 반복적인 파절과 유지력의 약화로 인해 새로운 보철물 제작을 원하여 ADD-TOC 부착 장치가 부착된 milled bar와 탈착 가능한 지르코니아 보철물을 CAD-CAM 방식으로 제작하였고, 이를 통해 기능적, 심미적으로 만족할 만한 결과를 얻었다.
