[국내논문] 피부 마이크로바이옴의 연구 동향 분석

피부에는 박테리아, 바이러스, 곰팡이를 포함하는 마이크로바이옴이 인체세포와 공존하고 있으며, 최근 피부 및 화장품 분야에서 피부 미생물 구성물과 피부 건강, 질병과의 연관성에 대해 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있을 뿐만 아니라 마이크로바이옴 화장품의 개발이 활발한 상황이다. 피부 마이크로바이옴은 매우 다양하며, 피부에서 구성비나 서식하는 부분이 다르지만 다양한 방법으로 상호작용을 통해 피부의 영양을 공급하거나 경쟁자인 병원균의 증식을 제한하고 있지만, 피부 마이크로바이옴과 병원균의 균형이 깨지면 면역 항상성의 파괴에 기여하고 피부 질환의 발병으로 이어질 수 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문은 우리 피부에 공생관계인 피부 마이크로바이옴의 역할과 연구 동향에 대해 파악하고, 마이크로바이옴 균형에 도움이 되는 바이오틱스 소재에 관한 산업동향을 고찰함으로써 미래의 큰 성장 가능성을 가진 피부 마이크로바이옴 시장의 중요한 자료로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
