A 2 100 bp segment of the third intron of the porcine POU1F1 gene was amplified by PCR ap-proach. Two polymorphic fragments of 1 680 bp(C allele) and 850/830 bp(D allele) were observed. In this paper, we discussed the Msp I polymorphic restriction sites in F2 stirp-Changdufengjiang pigs[LandraceX (DurocXFengjiang)], and studied the effect on growth performance of allele gene at Msp I restriction site. The result showed that three genotypes at Msp I polymorphic restriction sites had significant charac-teristics of distribution in the herds of Changdufengjiang pigs and the growth performance was affected.
