본 연구는 초등저학년 단순언어장애아동 10명, 생활연령일치 정상아동 10명, 언어연령일치 정상아동 10명을 대상으로 제시되는 문장 수에 따른 복문산출 특성을 살펴보았다. 연구과제는 각각 2, 3, 4개의 문장을 들려준 후 이를 하나의 문장으로 연결해서 산출하는 과제를 통하여 세집단의 복문산출 정확률과 오류유형 빈도를 살펴보았다. 연구결과는 (1) 전체 복문산출 정확률에서, 단순언어장애집단은 생활연령일치집단과 유의하게 낮은 수행을 보였으나, 언어언령일치집단과는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. (2) 문장수에 따라서는 세 집단 모두 제시 문장수가 많을수록 복문산출 정확률이 저조하였으며, 집단 간에 상호작용 효과는 없는 것으로 나타났다. (3) 오류유형 빈도 분석 결과, 단순언어장애집단은 문법형태소오류와 의미오류가 많은 반면, 언어연령일치집단은 모른다는 오류가 가장 많았다. 두 집단의 불완전수행과 어순오류는 비슷한 수준으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 단순언어장애아동들의 복문산출 특성과 관련하여 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the ability of combining sentences of children with specific language impairment (SLI group). The participants were 10 children with SLI, 10 normal children with the same CA (chronological age) with SLI group, and the other 10 normal children with same LA (language age) with SLI. The experimental task was to form one compound or complex sentence from 2, 3, or 4 simple sentences said by examiner. The results of the present study were as follows: First, there were significant differences between 3 groups in accuracy of combining of sentences. SLI groups showed significant differences with CA control group but similar result with LA control group. There were also significant differences between each sentence for accuracy of complex sentence production based on sentence length. The performance was the highest for 2 sentences, but it was lowered as sentence gets long. So we can say accuracy of complex sentence production depends on the length of sentences. There has been a tendency for all three groups that accuracy of complex sentence production decreases as sentence gets long. As a result, it was determined that there is no mutual correlation between sentence length and the type of group. Second, error patterns of SLI group were shown differently. SLI group committed errors in grammatical morpheme and meaning of the sentence while LA control group mostly responded that they don't know the answer.
