There are some glottalization phenomena of non-voiced consonants between voiced consonants and vowels. Till now, many researchers have explained these phenomena by constraint of the morphology, syntax and semantics based on the condition of ruks. However, it the glottalization applies to the non-conditional environment which excludes a condition of the insertion [ㅅ] like ‘Gyeouljam’ [Gyeouljam ~ Gyeouljjam]. And despite of the same input, glottalization may apply and may not apply depending on the dialect, for example, ‘Angida’ [Angida ~ Anggida]. May even apply glottalization to the environment which glottalization can not be applied such as /l/ of Sino-Korean word-final position, for example, ‘Bulbeop’ [Bulbbeop]. These cases are difficult to explain. Because in these cases, even constrained by the environmental conditions that non-phonological information described should. So, this study tries to research about that the voiced consonants /m, n, η, l/ in the word-final position sometimes change to plosive or implosive. And based on these facts, we tried to explain the phenomena presented above. In other words, depending on the speakers and words, voiced consonant of the word-final position changes to implosive or plosive. The structural constraint is not a reason for glottalization of voiced consonants in the word-final position. These unreleased characteristics of voiced consonants optionally apply to phonological process depending on the speakers and words. As a result, this optionality may be the reason for three types presented above as irregular phonological phenomena.
