자연재난 발생 이후 피해지역에 대한 정보수집이 지연되고, 기본통계 정보 수집이 원활하지 못해 피해대상과 피해비용 산정이 지연되는 문제와 복구계획 수립이 지연되는 문제가 제기되어 왔다. 이에 본 연구는 부처별로 산재된 재난관련 기본통계 데이터를 효과적으로 활용하기 위한 방안으로 재해자료의 공동활용 모델을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 정보의 공동활용에 대한 선행연구를 검토하고, 공동활용 모델에 필요한 최신기술 및 기술전략을 제시하였다. 이를 통해 본 연구의 결과는 다양한 재난 발생시 피해통계 산정과 복구계획 수립에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
