In the mobile terminal according to the present invention, unlike in a mobile terminal in the related art in which payment is simply performed with a default credit card, if the NFC payment is requested in the low battery state where the mobile terminal is powered off, a payment application based on a light operating system, which is executed on an embedded Linux, is displayed, and the NFC payment with a credit card selected from the payment application based on the corresponding light operating system is performed. Therefore, a credit card payment can be effectively performed in a low battery state as well.

A method of performing near field communication (NFC) payment using a mobile terminal, comprising: checking a power source state of the mobile terminal when credit card payment is requested;displaying a payment application that is executed on a general operating system if the mobile terminal is in a power on state, anddisplaying selectively a payment application driving by a light operating system according to a preset payment setting if the mobile terminal is in a power off state and performing the NFC payment on the payment application. 6. The method of claim 5, wherein the power off state is a low battery state where the mobile terminal is difficult to operate normally, and wherein the payment setting includes a credit card setting for the NFC payment and another same payment. 7. The method of claim 5, wherein the performing of the NFC payment includes: displaying the payment application based on the light operating system, for selection of a credit card when the set payment is application payment, andperforming the payment with a default credit card when the set payment is default payment. 8. The method of claim 5, further comprising: performing another same payment according to the payment setting when the NFC payment fails. 9. The method of claim 8, wherein the another same payment is performed with the credit card selected from the payment application if the NFC payment is performed with the default credit. 10. The method of claim 8, wherein, the another same payment is performed with a different credit card selected from the payment application or a default credit card if the NFC payment is performed with the credit card selected from the payment application. 11. A mobile terminal, comprising: a display unit;a universal IC card (UICC) configured to store payment credit card information; anda near field communication (NFC) chip configured to display a mobile payment application, of which an operating system differs according to power state of the mobile terminal when receiving a payment request signal, and perform payment with a credit card selected from the mobile payment application. 12. The mobile terminal of claim 11, wherein the NFC chip displays a payment application that is executed on an operating system if the mobile terminal is in the power on state, and displays a payment application that is executed on a light operating system if the mobile terminal is in the power off state. 13. The mobile terminal of claim 11, wherein the power off state is a low battery state where the mobile terminal is difficult to operate normally, and wherein the NFC chip displays the payment application that is executed on the light operating system if remaining battery power is above a threshold value. 14. The mobile terminal of claim 11, wherein the NFC chip performs the another same payment with a default credit card stored in the universal IC (UICC) if the NFC payment with the selected credit card fails. 15. A mobile terminal comprising: a display unit;a universal IC card (UICC) configured to store payment credit card information; anda near field communication (NFC) configured to selectively display a payment application based on a light operating system when credit card payment is requested in a power off state of the mobile terminal according to a preset payment setting, and perform payment with a credit card selected from the displayed payment application. 16. The mobile terminal of claim 15, wherein the NFC chip displays the payment application based on a current operating system when the payment with the credit card is requested in a power on state of the mobile terminal 17. The mobile terminal of claim 15, wherein the power off state is a low battery state, and wherein the payment setting includes a credit card setting for NFC payment and another same payment. 18. The mobile terminal of claim 15, wherein the NFC chip displays the payment application based on the light operating system, for selection of a credit card when the payment that is set is application payment, and performs the payment with a default credit card when the payment that is set is default payment. 19. The mobile terminal of claim 17, wherein the NFC chip performs another same payment according to the payment setting when the NFC payment fails. 20. The mobile terminal of claim 19, wherein the NFC chip performs the another same payment with a credit card selected from the payment application when the NFC payment is made with a default credit card, and performs the another same payment with a different credit card selected from the same application or a default credit card when the NFC payment is made with a credit card selected from the payment application.
