A liquid-fueled rocket has a storage tank for the fuel components of a liquid fuel and the storage tank is able to communicate with the combustion chambers of the rocket via normally closed valves. The storage tank is enclosed and the fuel components only in part fill the latter. A body of gas is confined in the storage tank and has a pressure exceeding that in the combustion chambers.
