A printing press provides a pair of cylinders mounted for rotation about parallel axes. At least one of the cylinders carries a member wrapped thereon having circumferentially spaced edges defining a gutter. When the cylinders are rotated, an impact is generated when the gutter juxtaposes the adjacent cylinder thereby generating oscillatory movement in at least one of the cylinders.
