A capture device at the tip of a fluid foil such that when the foil has relative motion with respect to fluid in which it is immersed the capture device intercepts a quantity of the crossflow which is generated by the difference in pressure on the lower surface relative to the upper surface so that lift-induced drag is reduced thereby.
