Water dispersible epoxide resin compositions are made by reacting a diglycidyl ether of a dihydric phenol with a dihydric phenol and a co-reactive urethane surfactant. The co-reactive surfactant is prepared by reacting a long chain aliphatic polyether glycol with a diisocyanate and a dihydric phenol
