A strap capable of encompassing the lens and dome is attached on one end of the rear of the dome. At its other end, the underside of the strap is provided with a tip which plugs into a receiver located under the dome. The holder is made of a soft plastic material and comprises a single unit which is attached to the underside of the cap used to close the case containing the soaking solution in which the contact lens is stored.
