A cement composition containing cement and at least one compound selected from the group of compounds of the formulas ##EQU##RO(C 2 H 4 O) 1-5 H (2) ##EQU##RO(C 3 H 6 O) 1 H (3) ##EQU##RO(A 1 O) 2-10 H (4) in which R represents a C 1-5 alkyl or C 5-6 cycloalkyl radical, and --A 1 O-- 2-10 is a polyoxyalkylene radical of 2-10 moles consisting of C 2 H 4 O and C 3 H 6 O. 2. A cement composition according to claim 1, wherein the C 2 H 4 O/C 3 H 6 O (molar ratio) in said --A 1 O-- 2-10 is between 0.2 and 5.0. 3. A cement composition according to claim 1, wherein said R is a cyclohexyl radical. 4. A cement composition according to claim 1, containing water as a hardening agent. 5. A cement composition according to claim 1, containing water as a hardening agent, and aggregate. 6. A cement composition according to claim 4 or 5, wherein the amount of water is 25-90% by weight of the cement.
