There is disclosed a strong, light-weight, rigid, molded, plastic luggage provided with wheels and a retractable handle. The luggage ensemble utilizes the shape of respective individual pieces of the luggage and retention means to hold them in assembled relationship and utilization of the retractable handle and the wheels facilitate transportation of the relatively large load formed by the ensemble by an individual. The process for making the luggage, due to the unique structural design of its elements and the materials from which they are made, comprises unique, yet simple, molding and manufacturing steps which allow for facile assembly of a wide variety of luggage parts to form the completed product.

A luggage according to claim 1 wherein the integrally molded support means is disposed on the interior surface of the side panel of at least one of the molded one-piece plastic sections and extends up the interior surface of the walls of said one section. 3. A luggage according to claim 1 wherein the integrally molded support means is disposed on the exterior surface of the side panel of at least one of the molded one-piece plastic sections and extends up the exterior surfaces of the walls of said one section. 4. A luggage according to claim 1 wherein the integrally molded support means is disposed partly on the interior surface and partly on the exterior surface of the side panel of at least one of the molded one-piece plastic sections and extends partly up the interior surface and partly up the exterior surface of the walls of said one section. 5. A luggage according to claim 1 wherein the integrally molded support means is a pair of shallow, crossed ribs disposed on the interior surface of the side panel of at least one of the molded one-piece plastic sections and extends up the interior surfaces of the walls of said one section. 6. A luggage according to claim 1 wherein the integrally molded support means is a pair of shallow, crossed ribs disposed on the interior surface of the side panel of both of the molded one-piece plastic sections and extends up the interior surfaces of the walls of both of said sections. 7. A luggage according to claim 1 including fastening means disposed on the exterior surface of the side panel of the first molded one-piece plastic section for attaching to said luggage another object. 8. A luggage according to claim 1 including a "D" ring attached to a leader fixed to the exterior surface of the side panel of the second molded one-piece plastic section for attaching said luggage to another object, a pair of locks or catches, the base elements of which are fixed in the shaped recesses of said second section and the cooperating hasp elements of which are fixed in the shaped recesses of the first molded one-piece plastic section, a self-locking hinge pin disposed in the continuous passageway formed by the butt hinge means when said first and second sections are assembled in cooperative relationship, carrying means fixed to the exterior surface of the wall of said second section between said base elements and integrally molded feet being disposed on both said first and second sections. 9. A luggage according to claim 1 wherein the side panel of the second molded one-piece plastic section is provided on its internal surface with a centrally located pair of integral, spaced, shallow, parallel ribs forming a groove extending across said side panel to the wall provided with the butt hinge means and the wall directly opposite, at least two integral, shallow, rib braces disposed opposite each other at right angles to said groove and in contact with at least one of the surfaces of said side panel and the adjoining surfaces of two of the walls of said second section substantially midway between the corners thereof, at least two flanged wheel cavities including recesses located in the vicinity of the termination of the extent of and opposite said butt hinge means, and an extensible handle disposed in said groove. 10. A light-weight, strong, molded, rigid plastic luggage comprising in combination a first molded one-piece plastic section and a second molded one-piece plastic section adapted to cooperate with each other, and an extensible handle including locking and unlocking means; each of said sections including a side panel, four integrally molded, sloping walls having sloping curved corners and angled edges projecting upwardly from and enclosing said side panel, integrally molded support means disposed on the side panel of at least one of said sections extending up said side walls towards said angled edges substantially midway between the ends of said walls; each of said sections further being provided with integrally molded butt hinge means with reinforcing ribs disposed on the periphery of one of said walls and a plurality of shaped recesses for receiving the cooperating halves of locks or catches disposed on the wall directly opposite; said first section being provided with at least two integrally molded feet located in the vicinity of the ends of and opposite said butt hinge means and the wall directly opposite having a strengthened portion for supporting fastening means; three of the walls of said second section being provided with a pair of peripheral parallel ribs forming an offset groove extending continuously around and near the periphery thereof, the remaining wall of said second section being provided with integrally molded base support means for attaching said extensible handle at one end and the wall directly opposite being provided with integrally molded support means including an opening therethrough for supporting the opposite end of said extensible handle, a shaped recess for receiving the locking and unlocking means of said extensible handle located in the side panel of said second section and means supported on said integrally molded base support means for attaching said extensible handle to said integrally molded base support means; three of the walls of said first section being provided with an offset tongue including a supporting rib which extends continuously around and near the periphery thereof; the side panel of said second section being provided on its internal surface with a centrally located pair of integral, spaced, shallow parallel ribs forming a groove extending across said side panel to the wall provided with the butt hinge means and the wall directly opposite, at least two integral, shallow rib braces disposed opposite each other at right angles to said groove and in contact with at least one of the surfaces of said side panel and the adjoining surfaces of two of the walls of said second section substantially midway between the corners thereof and at least two integrally molded, flanged wheel cavities including recesses located beyond the opposite ends of said butt hinge means, and said extensible handle including a hollow tubular member disposed in said groove and a telescoping tubular shaft member passing through the opening of the integrally molded support means which supports one end of said extensible handle and cooperating with said locking and unlocking means located in the shaped recess provided therefor; the butt hinge means on said first and second sections being positioned thereon so that they interleave with each other and form a continuous passageway for reception of a hinge pin, said offset tongue and said offset groove being positioned on the respective sections so that they mate and said shaped recesses being positioned on the respective sections so that they are located across from each other when said sections are assembled in cooperative relationship. 11. A luggage according to claim 10 wherein the integrally molded support means is disposed on the interior surface of the side panel of at least one of the molded one-piece plastic sections and extends up the interior surface of the walls of said one section. 12. A luggage according to claim 10 wherein the integrally molded support means is disposed on the exterior surface of the side panel of at least one of the molded one-piece plastic sections and extends up the exterior surfaces of the walls of said one section. 13. A luggage according to claim 10 wherein the integrally molded support means is disposed partly on the interior surface and partly on the exterior surface of the side panel of at least one of the molded one-piece plastic sections and extends partly up the interior surface and partly up the exterior surface of the walls of said one section. 14. A luggage according to claim 10 wherein the integrally molded support means is a pair of shallow, crossed ribs disposed on the interior surface of the side panel of the first molded one-piece plastic section and extends up the interior surfaces of the walls of said section. 15. A luggage according to claim 10 wherein the integrally molded support means is a pair of shallow, crossed ribs disposed partly on the interior and partly on the exterior surfaces of the side panel of the first molded one-piece plastic section and extends up the interior and exterior surfaces of the walls of said section. 16. A luggage according to claim 10 including fastening means disposed on the exterior surface of the side panel of the first molded one-piece plastic section for attaching to said luggage another object. 17. A luggage according to claim 10 including a pair of locks or catches, the base elements of which are fixed in the shaped recesses of said second section and the cooperating hasp elements of which are fixed in the shaped recesses of the first molded one-piece plastic section, a self-locking hinge pin disposed in the continuous passageway formed by the butt hinge means when said first and second sections are assembled in cooperative relationship, carrying means fixed to the exterior surface of the wall of said second section between said base elements and integrally molded feet disposed on both said first and second sections. 18. A luggage according to claim 10 wherein the side panel of the first molded one-piece plastic section has on its exterior surface fastening means for attaching an additional object to said luggage. 19. A luggage according to claim 18 including as the additional object a rigid baby carrier provided with a fastening means for attachment to the fastening means of said luggage. 20. A luggage according to claim 18 including as the additional object a foldable canvas baby carrier provided with a fastening means for attachment to the fastening means of said luggage. 21. A luggage according to claim 18 including as the additional object a second luggage provided with a fastening means for attachment to the fastening means of the first-mentioned luggage. 22. A luggage according to claim 18 including as the additional object a plurality of additional luggage provided with fastening means for attachment in sequential order first to the fastening means of the first-mentioned luggage and then to each other. 23. A light-weight, strong, molded, rigid plastic luggage comprising in combination a first molded one-piece plastic section and a second molded one-piece plastic section adapted to cooperate with each other, and an extensible handle including locking and unlocking means; each of said sections including a side panel, four integrally molded, sloping walls having sloping curved corners and angled edges projecting upwardly from and enclosing said side panel, integrally molded support means disposed on the side panel of at least one of said sections extending up said side walls towards said angled edges substantially midway between the ends of said walls; each of said sections further being provided with integrally molded butt hinge means with reinforcing ribs disposed on the periphery of one of said walls and a plurality of shaped recesses for receiving the cooperating halves of locks or catches disposed on the wall directly opposite; said second section being provided with at least two integrally molded feet located in the vicinity of the ends of and opposite said butt hinge means and the wall directly opposite having a strengthened portion for supporting fastening means; three of the walls of said second section being provided with a pair of peripheral parallel ribs forming an offset groove extending continuously around and near the periphery thereof, the remaining wall of said second section being provided with integrally molded base support means for attaching said extensible handle at one end and the wall directly opposite being provided with integrally molded support means including an opening therethrough for supporting the opposite end of said handle, a shaped recess for receiving the locking and unlocking means for said extensible handle located on the exterior surface of the side panel of said second section, and an attaching means supported on said integrally molded support means; three of the walls of said first section being provided with an offset tongue including a supporting rib which extends continuously around and near the periphery thereof; the side panel of said second section being provided on its internal surface with a centrally located pair of integral, spaced, shallow parallel ribs forming a groove extending across said side panel to the wall provided with the butt hinge means and the wall directly opposite, at least two integral, shallow rib braces disposed opposite each other at right angles to said groove and in contact with at least one of the surfaces of said side panel and the adjoining surfaces of two of the walls of said second section substantially midway between the corners thereof, at least two flanged wheel cavities including recesses located beyond the opposite ends of said butt hinge means, and said extensible handle including a hollow tubular member located in said groove and a telescoping tubular shaft member passing through the opening in the integrally molded support means which supports the opposite end of said extensible handle and cooperating with said locking and unlocking means thereof located in said shaped recess; the butt hinge means on said first and said second sections being positioned thereon so that they interleave with each other and form a continuous passageway for reception of a self-locking hinge pin, said offset tongue and said offset groove being positioned on the respective sections so that they mate and said shaped recesses being positioned on the respective sections so that they are located across from each other when said sections are assembled in cooperative relationship. 24. A luggage according to claim 23 wherein the integrally molded support means is disposed on the interior surface of the side panel of at least one of the molded one-piece p1astic sections and extends up the interior surface of the walls of said one section. 25. A luggage according to claim 23 wherein the integrally molded support means is disposed on the exterior surface of the side panel of at least one of the molded one-piece p1astic sections and extends up the exterior surfaces of the walls of said one section. 26. A luggage according to claim 23 wherein the integrally molded support means is disposed partly on the interior surface and partly on the exterior surface of the side panel of at least one of the molded one-piece plastic sections and extends partly up the interior surface and partly up the exterior surface of the walls of said one section. 27. A luggage according to claim 23 wherein the integrally molded support means is a pair of shallow, crossed ribs disposed on the interior surface of the side panel of at least one of the molded one-piece plastic sections and extends up the interior surfaces of the walls of said one section. 28. A luggage according to claim 23 wherein the integrally molded support means is a pair of shallow, crossed ribs disposed on the interior surface of the side panel of both of the molded one-piece plastic sections and extends up the interior surfaces of the walls of both of said sections. 29. A luggage according to claim 23 including fastening means disposed on the exterior surface of the side panel of the first molded one-piece plastic section for attaching to said luggage another object. 30. A luggage according to claim 23 including a pair of locks or catches, the base elements of which are fixed in the shaped recesses of said second section and the cooperating hasp elements of which are fixed in the shaped recesses of the first molded one-piece plastic section, carrying means fixed to the exterior surface of the wall of said second section between said base elements and integrally molded feet being disposed on both said first and second sections. 31. A light-weight, strong, molded, rigid plastic luggage comprising in combination a first molded one-piece plastic section and a second molded one-piece plastic section adapted to cooperate with each other, and an extensible handle including locking and unlocking means; each of said sections including a side panel, four integrally molded, sloping walls having sloping curved corners and angled edges projecting upwardly from and enclosing said side panel, integrally molded support means disposed on the side panel of at least one of said sections extending up said side walls towards said angled edges substantially midway between the ends of said walls; each of said sections further being provided with integrally molded butt hinge means with reinforcing ribs disposed on the periphery of one said walls and a plurality of shaped recesses for receiving the cooperating halves of locks or catches disposed on the wall directly opposite; said first section being provided with at least two integrally molded feet located in the vicinity of the ends of and opposite said butt hinge means and the wall directly opposite having a strengthened portion for supporting fastening means; three of the walls of said second section being provided with a pair of peripheral parallel ribs forming an offset groove extending continuously around and near the periphery thereof, the remaining wall of said second section being provided with integrally molded base support means for attaching said extensible handle at one end and the wall directly opposite being provided with integrally molded support means including an opening therethrough for supporting the opposite end of said extensible handle, a shaped recess for receiving the locking and unlocking means of said extensible handle located in the side panel of said second section and means supported on said integrally molded base support means for attaching said extensible handle to said integrally molded base support means; three of the walls of said first section being provided with an offset tongue including a supporting rib which extends continuously around and near the periphery therof; the side panel of said second section being provided on its internal surface with a centrally located integrally molded tunnel extending across said side panel to the wall provided with the butt hinge means and the wall directly opposite, at least two integral, shallow rib braces disposed opposite each other at right angles to said tunnel and in contact with at least one of the surfaces of said side panel and the adjoining surfaces of two of the walls of said second section substantially midway between the corners thereof and at least two integrally molded, flanged wheel cavities including recesses located beyond the opposite ends of said butt hinge means, and said extensible handle including a hollow tubular member and a telescoping tubular shaft member disposed in said tunnel, said telescoping tubular shaft member passing through the opening of the integrally molded support means which supports one end of said extensible handle and cooperating with said locking and unlocking means located in the shaped recess provided therefor; the butt hinge means on said first and second sections being positioned thereon so that they interleave with each other and form a continuous passageway for reception of a hinge pin, said offset tongue and said offset groove being positioned on the respective sections so that they mate and said shaped recesses being positioned on the respective sections so that they are located across from each other when said sections are assembled in cooperative relationship. 32. A light-weight, strong, molded, rigid plastic luggage comprising a combination a first molded one-piece plastic section and a second molded one-piece plastic section adapted to cooperate with each other, and an extensible handle including locking and unlocking means; each of said sections including a side panel, four integrally molded, sloping walls having a sloping curved corners and angled edges projecting upwardly from and enclosing said side panel, integrally molded support means disposed on the side panel of at least one of said sections extending up said side walls towards said angled edges substantially midway between the ends of said walls; each of said sections further being provided with integrally molded butt hinge means with reinforcing ribs disposed on the periphery of one of said walls and a plurality of shaped recesses for receiving the cooperating halves of locks or catches disposed on the wall directly opposite, said first section being provided with at least two integrally molded feet located in the vicinity of the ends of and opposite said butt hinge means and the wall directly opposite having a strengthened portion for supporting fastening means; three of the walls of said second section being provided with a pair of peripheral parallel ribs forming an offset groove extending continuously around and near the periphery thereof, the remaining wall of said second section being provided with integrally molded base support means for attaching said extensible handle at one end and the wall directly opposite being provided with integrally molded support means for supporting the opposite end of said handle, a shaped recess for receiving the locking and unlocking means for said extensible handle located on the exterior surface of the side panel of said second section, and an attaching means supported on said integrally molded support means; three of the walls of said first section being provided with an offset tongue including a supporting rib which extends continuously around and near the periphery thereof; the side panel of said second section being provided on its external surface with a centrally located integrally molded groove extending across said side panel to the wall provided with the butt hinge means and the wall directly opposite, at least two integral, shallow rib braces disposed opposite each other at right angles to said groove located on the internal surface of such second section and in contact with at least one of the surfaces of said side panel and the adjoining surfaces of two of the walls of said second section substantially midway between the corners thereof, at least two flanged wheel cavities including recesses located beyond the opposite ends of said butt hinge means, and said extensible handle including a hollow tubular member and telescoping tubular shaft member located in said groove and said telescoping tubular shaft member cooperating with said locking and unlocking means located in said shaped recess; the butt hinge means on said first and second sections being positioned thereon so that they interleave with each other and form a continuous passageway for reception of a self-locking hinge pin, said offset tongue and said offset groove being positioned on the respective sections so that they mate and said shaped recesses being positioned on the respective sections so that they are located across from each other when said sections are assembled in cooperative relationship. 33. A luggage according to claim 32 wherein the side panel of the first molded one-piece plastic section has on its exterior surface fastening means for attaching an additional object to said luggage. 34. A luggage according to claim 33 including as the additional object a rigid baby carrier provided with a fastening means for attachment to the fastening means of said luggage. 35. A luggage according to claim 33 including as the additional object a foldable canvas baby carrier provided with a fastening means for attachment to the fastening means of said luggage. 36. A luggage according to claim 33 including as the additional object a second luggage provided with a fastening means for attachment to the fastening means of the first-mentioned luggage. 37. A luggage according to claim 33 including as the additional object a plurality of additional luggage and a foldable canvas baby carrier provided with fastening means for attachment in sequential order first to the fastening means of the first-mentioned luggage and these to each other and said baby carrier being the last object in the sequential order.
