A card cage includes upper and lower support members which define a slot for receiving a printed circuit board. An engagement mechanism includes one or more handles pivotally mounted on the front of the card cage. Each handle, in turn, is pivotally attached to a rod which extends to the rear of the card cage and terminates in an extraction member which receives the rear corner of a cirucit board.
