The transition piece seal spring includes a pair of integrally formed spring clips folded at one end to define a support slot, the spring clips being disposed in back-to-back relation one to the other. Each spring clip includes a pair of elongated, arcuately disposed spring segments spaced one from the other defining a slot for receiving the outwardly directed flange of the transition piece edge.
