초록
A method and apparatus for invisibly setting round precious stones, particularly diamonds, is disclosed. The stones are provided with grooves cut in a belt portion, which is a faceted portion located between the girdle and the pavilion. The setting is a cylindrical barrel which is provided with wedge-shaped tongues projecting inwardly from the wall of the barrel.
