A heat-insulating panel formed by compression-molding of 100 parts by weight of curled contracted pieces of magnetic tapes mixed with 15 to 50 parts by weight of a thermosetting resin as a binder, wherein said curled contracted pieces of magnetic tapes are obtained by heating cut or shredded pieces having lengths of 5 to 20 mm in an amount of 50% or more on the basis of the total weight of the tapes, said panel having a bending strength of at least 50 kgf/cm2 and a bending rigidity of at least 4×105 kgf cm2.
