A set of tubes, having inlets and outlets, is placed on the downstream side of a modulating flow regulator or valve, or plug, or other member in a gas flow line. The inlets collect all of the gas flow from the gas flow line into the tubes. The tubes bend gently and redirect the gas flow so that turbulence is significantly reduced in the tubes and the resulting flow is generally laminar.
