A flow meter for measuring an electrically conductive liquid, comprising:an axially extending tube, said tube defining a central passageway adapted to permit an electrically conductive liquid to pass therethrough, said tube is transparent to a magnetic field and comprises a ceramic material;a plurality of Hall sensors positioned axially along said tube; andcombining means for combining signals generated by said Hall sensors to determine flow rate through said tube.
