An elongate article carrier for use with motor vehicles provides at least two separate wide, thin, flexible, elongate straps or bands, each of which in turn supports a rigid article support hanger which is removably secured to the band. Each of the bands includes a vehicle attachment end and a hanger attachment tab or portion extending therefrom.
