When the bag is tilted on a supporting surface, the leg or legs of the stand pivot away from the bag body to form a support for the bag as it rests on the supporting surface. The seat protrudes from the side of the bag opposite the stand the seating surface substantially parallel to the supporting surface. The seating surface is supported by a substantially rigid member of sufficient strength to support a golfer.
