A carrying device interconnected to the storage module engages the support device, thereby carrying at least a first portion of the weight of the storage module. A rolling device interconnected to the storage module engages the floor to carry a second portion of the weight of the storage module. The provided storage unit allows heavy loads to be carried by the movable storage module along a path defined by the support device.
