A drainage slime remover capable of spreading a solution of a solid over slime generated wall surface portions, comprising a solid containing a microorganism growth retarding substance and a container which has a shape for permitting the installation thereof at the inlet or upper portion of a drain
A drainage slime remover capable of spreading a solution of a solid over slime generated wall surface portions, comprising a solid containing a microorganism growth retarding substance and a container which has a shape for permitting the installation thereof at the inlet or upper portion of a drain outlet and stores the solid, characterized in that the container has drain flow-in holes having an opening capable of controlling a drain flow-in amount and provided in the upper surface or the upper side portion of the container and solution flow-out holes having an opening capable of controlling a flow-out amount if a solid solution and provided in the bottom or the lower side portion of the container or additionally in the side surface thereof; and a slime preventing/removing agent which can remove slime from portions such as kitchen sinks and bathroom drain outlets where slime is grown by metabolites such as miscellaneous germs and mildews and which can prevent the occurrence of slime safely and for an extended period of time.

A drainage slime remover capable of spreading a solution of a solid over slime generated wall surface portions, comprising a solid containing a microorganism growth retarding substance and a container which has a shape for permitting the installation thereof at the inlet or upper portion of a drain outlet and stores the solid, characterized in that the container has drain flow-in holes having an opening capable of controlling a drain flow-in amount and provided in the upper surface or the upper side portion of the container and solution flow-out holes having an opening capable of controlling a flow-out amount if a solid solution and provided in the bottom or the lower side portion of the container or additionally in the side surface thereof; and a slime preventing/removing agent which can remove slime from portions such as kitchen sinks and bathroom drain outlets where slime is grown by metabolites such as miscellaneous germs and mildews and which can prevent the occurrence of slime safely and for an extended period of time. stored in said oxidizer shell, in that said coloring agent provides at least 0.002 color absorbency units to the water when measured in the visible range with a suitable UV spectrophotometer using a 1.0 cm pass length quartz cell at such time as the oxidizing tablet is substantially dissolved; and wherein said oxidizer shell is formed and shaped to enclose said coloring agent in a manner in which said coloring agent is prevented from contacting the water in the tank until the oxidizing shell is substantially dissolved. 15. The method of claim 14 wherein said coloring agent comprises C.I. pigment Green 7. 16. The method of claim 14 wherein said coloring agent comprises potassium permanganate. 17. The method of claim 14 wherein said coloring agent comprises a phthaloncyanine-based pigment, or a derivative thereof. 18. The method of claim 14 wherein said oxidizer shell comprises trichloroisocyanuric acid. 19. The method of claim 14 wherein said oxidizer shell further includes a dissolution modifier in the oxidizer shell. 20. The method of claim 19 wherein said dissolution modifier is glycoluril. 21. The method of claim 14, wherein said oxidizer shell further includes a surfactant. 22. The method of claim 21 wherein said dissolution modifier is an alkylated diphenyl oxide disulfonate. 23. The method of claim 14, wherein said oxidizer shell further includes a binder. 24. The method of claim 23 wherein said binder is a dimethyl hydantoin. 25. The method of claim 14 wherein said water oxidizing composition further includes a dispersant with the coloring agent. 26. The method of claim 25 wherein said dispersant is a polyacrylate powder. 27. The tablet of claim 1 wherein said coloring agent comprises a member selected from the group consisting of pthalocyanines, compounds of the formula (phthalocyanine)--(COONa or SO3Na)m(Cl, F, or Br)nwhere in plus n may be equal to or less than 16, anthroquinones, permanganate salts, dichromate salts, ultramarine blue, and combinations thereof. 28. The tablet of claim 1 wherein said halogen-source oxidizer comprises between 30% and 99% of the outer shell composition. 29. A tablet for treating the water in a water tank, said tablet comprising: a shell comprising a slow-dissolving organic or inorganic halogen-source material; and a coloring agent within said shell; wherein said coloring agent comprises a member selected from the group consisting of pthalocyanines, compounds of the formula (phthalocyanine)--(COONa or SO3Na)m(Cl, F, or Br)nwhere m plus n may be equal to or less than 16, anthroquinones, permanganate salts, dichromate salts, ultramarine blue, and combinations thereof, wherein said coloring agent is substantially color stable when stored in said shell; and wherein said shell encloses said coloring agent in a manner effective to prevent the coloring agent from dispersing into the water of a water tank, when the shell is immersed in said tank, until the shell is substantially dissolved. 30. The method of claim 14 wherein said coloring agent comprises a member selected from the group consisting of pthalocyanines, compounds of the formula (phthalocyanine)--(COONa or SO3Na)m(Cl, F, or Br)nwhere m plus n may be equal to or less than 16, anthroquinones permanganate salts, dichromate salts, ultramarine blue, and combinations thereof. l., 523/106; US-4758595, 19880700, Ogunbiyi et al., 514/635; US-4826936, 19890500, Ellis, 526/258; US-4996275, 19910200, Ellis et al., 526/245; US-5006622, 19910400, Kunzler et al., 526/309; US-5032658, 19910700, Baron et al., 526/321; US-5034461, 19910700, Lai et al., 525/100; US-5070215, 19911200, Bambury et al., 556/418; US-5177165, 19930100, Valint, Jr. et al., 526/245; US-5177168, 19930100, Baron et al., 526/321; US-5219965, 19930600, Valint, Jr. et al., 526/245; US-5236969, 19930800, Kunzler et al., 523/108; US-5260000, 19931100, Nandu et al., 264/002.1; US-5270418, 19931200, Kunzler et al., 526/309; US-5298533, 19940300, Nandu et al., 523/106; US-5310779, 19940500, Lai, 524/588; US-5321108, 19940600, Kunzler et al., 526/242; US-5336797, 19940800, McGee et al., 556/419; US-5346976, 19940900, Ellis et al., 526/279; US-5358995, 19941000, Lai et al., 524/547; US-5364637, 19941100, Deet et al., 424/464; US-5364918, 19941100, Valint, Jr. et al., 526/245; US-5387662, 19950200, Kunzler et al., 526/245; US-5449729, 19950900, Lai, 526/286; US-5512205, 19960400, Lai, 252/182.14; US-5539016, 19960700, Kunzler et al., 523/107; US-5610204, 19970300, Lai, 522/044; US-5610252, 19970300, Bambury et al., 526/279; US-5616757, 19970400, Bambury et al., 556/419; US-5639908, 19970600, Lai, 560/158; US-5648515, 19970700, Lai, 560/115; US-5708094, 19980100, Lai et al., 525/296; US-5710302, 19980100, Kunzler et al., 556/434; US-5714557, 19980200, Kunzler et al., 526/279; US-5726733, 19980300, Lai et al., 351/160; US-5824719, 19981000, Kunzler et al., 523/106; US-5858937, 19990100, Richard et al., 510/112; US-5908906, 19990600, Kunzler et al., 526/279; US-5914355, 19990600, Kunzler, 523/106; US-5945465, 19990800, Ozark et al., 523/106; US-5969076, 19991000, Lai et al., 528/028; US-5981669, 19991100, Valint, Jr. et al., 525/477; US-5981675, 19991100, Valint, Jr. et al., 526/279; US-6008317, 19991200, Lai et al., 528/374; US-6037328, 20000300, Hu et al., 514/023; US-6071439, 20000600, Bawa et al., 264/001.1 Schumacher, 508/258; US-5433873, 19950700, Camenzind, 508/258; US-5507963, 19960400, Wolf, 508/258
