The multiple semiconductor laser structure according to claim 5, wherein the multiple semiconductor laser structure is to be mounted on a heat sink, and a material composition of said bulk material layers is chosen such that an increase in a band gap of said material composition of said bulk material layers is obtained with an increasing distance from the heat sink. 7. The multiple semiconductor laser structure according to claim 1, wherein said n+p+tunnel junction is one of a plurality of n+p+tunnel junctions disposed between and separating each pair of said vertically neighboring ones of said laser pn junctions.
