The dry mix contains other conventional ingredients such as vanillin an emulsifier. A chocolate flavored drink can be prepared from the dry drink mix by adding milk, for example a low fat milk. The cocoa polyphenol rich cocoa powder is prepared from non-roasted cocoa beans or blends thereof having a fermentation factor of 275 less, i.e., slaty and/or purple cocoa beans. The alkalized cocoa powder is prepared from roasted cocoa beans.

The dry drink mix of claim 1, further comprising vanillin. 3. The dry drink mix of claim 1, further comprising vanillin, an emulsifier and a malt powder. 4. The dry drink mix of claim 3, wherein the emulsifier is lecithin. 5. The dry drink mix of claim 1, wherein the cocoa polyphenol rich cocoa powder is milled from partially defatted coco solids prepared from non-roasted cocoa beans or blends thereof having a fermentation factor of 275 or less. 6. The dry drink mix of claim 1, wherein the cocoa polyphenol rich cocoa powder is milled from partially defatted cocoa solids prepared from non-roasted cocoa beans or blends thereof having a fermentation factor of 125 or less. 7. The dry drink mix of claim 1, wherein the cocoa polyphenol rich cocoa powder is milled from partially defatted cocoa solids prepared from non-roasted cocoa beans or blends thereof having a fermentation factor of about 100. 8. The dry drink mix of claim 1, wherein the cocoa polyphenol rich cocoa powder is prepared from slaty and/or purple cocoa beans. 9. The dry drink mix of claim 1, wherein the alkalized cocoa powder is willed from cocoa solids prepared from roasted cocoa beans or blends thereof. 10. The dry drink mix of claim 1, wherein the cocoa polyphenol rich cocoa powder is milled from partially defatted cocoa solids prepared from non-roasted cocoa beans or blends thereof having a fermentation factor of 275 or less and wherein the alkalized cocoa powder is milled from cocoa solids prepared from roasted cocoa beans. 11. A chocolate flavored drink comprising milk and the dry drink mix of claim 10. 12. The chocolate flavored drink of claim 11, wherein the milk is a 2% low fat milk. 13. The dry drink mix of claim 1, wherein the ratio of the cocoa polyphenol rich cocoa powder to the alkalized cocoa powder is about 4.5 to 1. 14. The dry drink mix of claim 1, wherein the sweetener is a nutritive carbohydrate sweetener. 15. The dry drink mix of claim 14, wherein the nutritive carbohydrate sweetener is sucrose, fructose, lactose, maltose, glucose syrup solids, corn syrup solids, invert sugar, hydrolyzed lactose, honey, maple sugar, brown sugar, and/or molasses. 16. The dry drink mix of claim 1, wherein the sweetener is a sugar substitute. 17. The dry drink mix of claim 16, wherein the sugar substitute is aspartame, cyclamate, saccharin, acesulfame-K, neohesperidin dihydrochalcone, sucralose, alitame, stevia sweetener, glycyrrhizin, and/or thaumatin. 18. A chocolate flavored drink comprising milk and the dry drink mix of claim 1. 19. The chocolate flavored drink of claim 18 or 1, wherein the milk is a low fat milk.
