A method for displaying toilet training materials which includes the steps of providing a supply of at least two different types of toilet training materials, each type of toilet training material associated with at least one of a plurality of toilet training steps; providing a display having at least two regions, each of the regions associated with one of the toilet training steps; and housing the toilet training materials within the region having an equivalent toilet training step. Various embodiments of the display in the form of an in-store kiosk are illustrated.

The method of claim 1 wherein the information is collected via an interactive mechanism. 3. The method of claim 2 wherein the interactive mechanism comprises a computer. 4. A display for vending toilet training materials comprising: a supply of at least two different types of toilet training materials, each type of toilet training material associated with at least one of a plurality of toilet training steps; and a display structure having at least two regions, each of the regions associated with one of the toilet training steps, the toilet training materials being housed within the region associated with the corresponding toilet training step, the display further comprising an interactive mechanism, wherein the interactive mechanism comprises a computer. 5. A display for vending toilet training materials and providing toilet training guidance to a consumer comprising: a supply of at least three different types of toilet training materials, each type of toilet training material associated with at least one of three toilet training steps, wherein the toilet training steps comprise a readiness step, a transitional step, and a coaching step, and wherein: the types of toilet training materials associated with the readiness step are selected from the group of types of toilet training materials consisting of toilet training books, toilet training videos, readiness "tip" sheets, "potty" chairs, toilet inserts, portable "potty" inserts, toilet training starter kits, parental guides to toilet training, dolls that show how to use the toilet, and toilet training coloring books; the types of toilet training materials associated with the transitional step are selected from the group of types of toilet training materials consisting of promotional materials, disposable training pants, disposable underpants, disposable clothing, disposable wipes for children, special toilet paper with children's graphics, and "bathroom in-use" door hangers; and the types of toilet training materials associated with the coaching step are selected from the group of types of toilet training materials consisting of progress rewards and encouragement devices; a kiosk having a first region, a second region, and a third region delineated from one another by partitions, the first region associated with the readiness step, the second region associated with to the transitional step, and the third region associated with the coaching step; the toilet training materials housed within the kiosk, the toilet training materials associated with the readiness step housed within the first region, the toilet training materials associated with the transitional step housed within the second region, and the toilet training materials associated with the coaching step housed within the third region; and the kiosk providing consumer information describing the toilet training steps and toilet training materials associated therewith.
