An actuator rod assembly 24 is mounted to the mechanical drive mechanism 18 and includes a first segment 26 having a first segment outer diameter 34 with a plurality of first segment outer threads 36. A second segment 38 has a split sleeve passage 50, a second segment inner diameter 40 with plurality of second segment inner threads 42, and a second segment outer diameter 44 a plurality of second segment outer threads 46. The second segment inner threads 42 engage the first segment outer threads 36. A third segment 52 includes a third segment split sleeve passage 60 as well as a plurality of third segment inner threads 58 engaging the second segment outer threads 46. An actuator rod assembly 24 is mounted to the mechanical drive mechanism 18 and includes a first segment 26 having a first segment outer diameter 34 with a plurality of first segment outer threads 36. A second segment 38 has a split sleeve passage 50, a second segment inner diameter 40 with plurality of second segment inner threads 42, and a second segment outer diameter 44 a plurality of second segment outer threads 46. The second segment inner threads 42 engage the first segment outer threads 36. The method of claim 1, wherein the securing is such that the wipes dispenser does not substantially move over a period of 10 minutes when subjected to a force of at least 1100 g. 7. A method for dispensing wet wipes comprising: removing a spindle from a toilet tissue dispenser; mounting a wet wipes dispenser in the toilet tissue dispenser by means of a mounting assembly, the mounting assembly having arms and a screw, the wet wipes dispenser having an opening; inserting a container of wet wipes; threading the wipes through the wipes dispenser opening; and removing wet wipes from the wipes dispenser. 8. The method of claim 7, wherein the arms and screw are adjustable. 9. The method of claim 7, wherein the screw passes through the body of the mounting assembly perpendicular to the direction of motion of the arms. 10. The method of claim 7, wherein the mounting comprises engaging the arms of the mounting assembly with the posts of the toilet tissue dispenser. 11. The method of claim 7, wherein the mounting comprises adjusting the screw in the mounting assembly such that pressure is applied to the posts of the toilet tissue dispenser and at least one surface. 12. The method of claim 7, wherein the wipes dispenser is rigidly, removably, and adjustably secured to the toilet tissue dispenser and at least one surface. 13. The method of claim 7, wherein the mounting is such that the wipes dispenser does not substantially move over a period of 10 minutes when subjected to a force of at least 500 g. 14. The method of claim 7, wherein the mounting is such that the wipes dispenser does not substantially move over a period of 10 minutes when subjected to a force of at least 800 g. 15. The method of claim 7, wherein the mounting is such that the wipes dispenser does not substantially move over a period of 10 minutes when subjected to a force of at least 1100 g. 16. A method for dispensing wet wipes comprising: removing a spindle from a toilet tissue dispenser; securing a wet wipes dispenser to the toilet tissue dispenser and at least one surface by means of a screw in a mounting assembly, the wet wipes dispenser having an opening; inserting a container of wet wipes; threading the wipes through the wipes dispenser opening; and removing wet wipes from the wipes dispenser. 17. The method of claim 16, wherein the securing comprises applying pressure to the posts of the toilet tissue dispenser and the at least one surface by adjusting the screw in the mounting assembly. 18. The method of claim 16, wherein the screw comprises a thread design that requires 16, turns to move the screw a distance of 1 inch through the mounting assembly. 19. The method of claim 16, wherein the screw comprises a large head. 20. The method of claim 16, wherein the securing is such that the wipes dispenser does not substantially move over a period of 10 minutes when subjected to a force of at least 500 g. 21.
