The watercraft of claim 1, further comprising a drive shaft operatively connecting the engine to the jet propulsion system, wherein the drive shaft comprises a first drive shaft section coupled to the engine, a second drive shaft section coupled to the jet propulsion system, and an extendable coupling that couples the first and second drive shaft sections.12. The watercraft of claim 1, further comprising a gas tank substantially immovably coupled to the deck.
