A table includes a table top and a leg movable between an extended position and a collapsed position relative to the table top. A support brace interconnects the leg and the table top, and a locking member is used to secure the support brace in a fixed position. The locking mechanism preferably includes a body with an outwardly extending tab that is sized and configured to lock the support brace in a fixed position when the leg is in an extended position and the locking mechanism is in a locked position. Desirably, a biasing member is used to bias the locking member into the locked position.

The table as in claim 1, wherein the outwardly extending tab of the locking mechanism is sized and configured to engage a portion of the first arm of the support brace to lock the support brace in the fixed position when the leg is in the extended position and the locking mechanism is in the locked position.3. The table as in claim 1, wherein the locking mechanism is slidably connected to the second arm of the support brace and the outwardly extending tab is sized and configured to engage a portion of the first arm of the support brace to lock the support brace in the fixed position when the leg is in the extended position and the locking mechanism is in the locked position.4. The table as in claim 1, further comprising a biasing member that is sized and configured to bias the locking mechanism into the locked position.5. The table as in claim 1, further comprising an opening in the second arm, the opening being sized and configured to allow the outwardly extending tab to be disposed through the opening and to engage a portion of the first arm of the support brace to lock the support brace in the fixed position when the leg is in the extended position and the locking mechanism is in the locked position.6. The table as in claim 1, further comprising an extension extending from the first arm that is sized and configured to engage the outwardly extending tab to lock the support brace in the fixed position when the leg is in the extended position and the locking mechanism is in the locked position, the extension including a generally curved first surface and a generally planar second surface.7. The table as in claim 6, wherein the generally curved first surface is sized and configured to allow the locking mechanism to be moved from the locked position to the unlocked position as the first arm and the second arm of the support brace are moved from a collapsed position to an extended position without a user moving the locking mechanism into the unlocked position.8. The table as in claim 6, wherein the generally planar second surface is sized and configured to engage the outwardly extending tab when the support brace is in an extended position and the locking mechanism is in the locked position to prevent unlocking of the locking mechanism without a user moving the locking mechanism into the unlocked position.9. The table as in claim 1, further comprising an extension extending from a first end of the body and a biasing member disposed about at least a portion of the extension, the biasing member being sized and configured to bias the locking mechanism into the locked position.10. A table comprising:a table top;a leg movable between an extended position and a collapsed position relative to the table top;a support brace interconnecting the leg and the table top, the support brace including a first arm and a second arm; anda locking mechanism that is slidably disposed relative to the support brace between a locked position and an unlocked position, the locking mechanism including a body with an outwardly extending tab that is sized and configured to lock the first arm and the second arm of the support brace in a fixed position when the leg is in the extended position and the locking mechanism is in the locked position;wherein one end of the body is sized and configured to contact a pivot pin of the support brace when the locking mechanism is in the locked position; and wherein said one end of the body is spaced apart from the pivot pin when the locking mechanism is in the unlocked position.11. A table comprising:a table top including an upper surface and a lower surface, the table top being constructed from blow-molded plastic and including a generally hollow interior;a leg that is movable relative to the table top between an extended position and a collapsed position; anda support brace interconnecting the leg and the table top, the support brace comprising:a first arm;a second arm including an elongated channel with a first side wall, a second side wall and an intermediate portion; anda locking mechanism that is slidably disposed in the channel of relative to the second arm between a locked position and an unlocked position, the locking mechanism including a tab that is sized and configured to engage the first arm and hold the first arm and the second arm in a generally fixed position when the leg is in the extended position and the locking mechanism is in the locked position.12. The table as in claim 11, wherein the outwardly extending tab is sized and configured to contact a curved surface of the first arm of the support brace to allow the support brace to be moved from a collapsed position to an extended position without a user unlocking the locking mechanism.13. The table as in claim 11, wherein the outwardly extending tab is sized and configured to contact a generally planar surface of the first arm of the support brace when the locking mechanism is in the locked position and the leg is in the extended position to prevent the support brace from being moved from an extended position to a collapsed position without a user unlocking the locking mechanism.14. The table as in claim 11, further comprising a biasing member that is sized and configured to bias the locking member into the locked position.15. The table as in claim 11, further comprising an opening in the second arm that is sized and configured to allow the outwardly extending tab to be disposed through the opening.16. A locking mechanism that is sized and configured to lock a support brace for a table into a fixed position, the support brace being capable of being attached to a table leg and a table top, the locking mechanism comprising:an elongated body that is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position, the elongated body including a first end and a second end;a first tab that extends outwardly from the elongated body, the first tab being sized and configured to be disposed through an opening in a first arm of the support brace, the first tab also being sized and configured to engage a portion of a second arm of the support brace to lock the support brace in a fixed position when the elongated body is in the locked position; anda second tab that extends outwardly from the elongated body, the second tab being sized and configured to be disposed through the opening in a first arm of the support brace, the second tab also being sized and configured to engage a portion of the second arm of the support brace to lock the support brace in a fixed position when the elongated body is in the locked position.17.
