A reconfigurable IC comprising: a plurality of sections; each section including a plurality of configurable circuits; each configurable circuit for configurably performing a set of operations; and each section storing multiple configuration data sets for each configurable circuit, each configuration data set for a particular configurable circuit specifying an operation that the particular configurable circuit has to perform from the circuit's set of operations; wherein the configurable circuits of different sections iterate through different numbers of stored configuration data sets; wherein a first section stores N number of configuration data sets for each configurable circuit in the first section, while a second section stores M number of configuration data sets for each configurable circuit in the second section, wherein N and M are different. 2. The reconfigurable IC of claim 1, wherein each configurable circuit of one section iterates through eight configuration data sets, while each configurable circuit of another section iterates through six configuration data sets. 3. The reconfigurable IC of claim 1 further comprising: a) for each particular configurable circuit, configuration data supplying circuitry for supplying configuration data sets to the particular configurable circuit, b) wherein a first configurable data supplying circuitry in the first section is controlled differently than a second configurable data supplying circuitry to allow the first configurable data supplying circuitry to iterate through a smaller sub-set of the configuration data sets for the configurable circuit of the first configurable data supplying circuitry. 4. The reconfigurable IC of claim 1, wherein the configurable circuits include configurable logic circuits each for configurably performing a set of functions, wherein a configuration data set for a configurable logic circuit specifies a function for the configurable logic circuit to perform within the configurable logic circuit's set of functions. 5. The reconfigurable IC of claim 4, wherein the configurable circuits further include configurable interconnect circuits each for configurably performing a set of interconnect operations, wherein a configuration data set for a configurable interconnect circuit specifies an interconnect operation for the configurable interconnect circuit to perform within the configurable interconnect circuit's set of interconnect operations. 6. The reconfigurable IC of claim 5, wherein the configurable interconnect circuits include configurable routing circuits for configurably routing signals between the configurable logic circuits. 7. The reconfigurable IC of claim 6, wherein the configurable interconnect circuits include configurable input-select interconnect circuits for configurably selecting signals that are input signals to the configurable logic circuits. 8. The reconfigurable IC of claim 1, wherein the configurable circuits include configurable interconnect circuits each for configurably performing a set of interconnect operations, wherein a configuration data set for a configurable interconnect circuit specifies an interconnect operation for the configurable interconnect circuit to perform within the configurable interconnect circuit's set of interconnect operations. 9. An electronic device comprising: a reconfigurable IC comprising: a plurality of sections; each section including a plurality of configurable circuits; each configurable circuit for configurably performing a set of operations; and each section storing multiple configuration data sets for each configurable circuit, each configuration data set for a particular configurable circuit specifying an operation that the particular configurable circuit has to perform from the circuit's set of operations; wherein the configurable circuits of different sections iterate through different numbers of stored configuration data sets; wherein a first section stores N number of configuration data sets for each configurable circuit in the first section, while a second section stores M number of configuration data sets for each configurable circuit in the second section, wherein N and M are different. 10. The electronic device of claim 9, wherein each configurable circuit of one section iterates through eight configuration data sets, while each configurable circuit of another section iterates through six configuration data sets. 11. The electronic device of claim 9 further comprising: a) for each particular configurable circuit, configuration data supplying circuitry for supplying configuration data sets to the particular configurable circuit, b) wherein a first configurable data supplying circuitry in the first section is controlled differently than a second configurable data supplying circuitry to allow the first configurable data supplying circuitry to iterate through a smaller sub-set of the configuration data sets for the configurable circuit of the first configurable data supplying circuitry. 12. The electronic device of claim 9, wherein the configurable circuits include configurable logic circuits each for configurably performing a set of functions, wherein a configuration data set for a configurable logic circuit specifies a function for the configurable logic circuit to perform within the configurable logic circuit's set of functions. 13. The electronic device of claim 12, wherein the configurable circuits further include configurable interconnect circuits each for configurably performing a set of interconnect operations, wherein a configuration data set for a configurable interconnect circuit specifies an interconnect operation for the configurable interconnect circuit to perform within the configurable interconnect circuit's set of interconnect operations. 14. The electronic device of claim 13, wherein the configurable interconnect circuits include configurable routing circuits for configurably routing signals between the configurable logic circuits. 15. The electronic device of claim 14, wherein the configurable interconnect circuits include configurable input-select interconnect circuits for configurably selecting signals that are input signals to the configurable logic circuits. 16. The electronic device of claim 9, wherein the configurable circuits includes configurable interconnect circuits each for configurably performing a set of interconnect operations, wherein a configuration data set for a configurable interconnect circuit specifies an interconnect operation for the configurable interconnect circuit to perform within the configurable interconnect circuit's set of interconnect operations. 17. A reconfigurable IC comprising: a plurality of sections; each section including a plurality of configurable circuits; each configurable circuit for configurably performing a set of operations; and each section storing multiple configuration data sets for each configurable circuit, each configuration data set for a particular configurable circuit specifying an operation that the particular configurable circuit has to perform from the circuit's set of operations; wherein the configurable circuits of different sections iterate through different numbers of stored configuration data sets; wherein first and second sections have the ability to store the same number of configuration data sets for each configurable circuit in the two sections, but a configurable circuit in a first section iterates through a smaller sub-set of the configuration data sets than a configurable circuit in a second section. 18. An electronic device comprising: a reconfigurable IC comprising: a plurality of sections; each section including a plurality of configurable circuits; each configurable circuit for configurably performing a set of operations; and each section storing multiple configuration data sets for each configurable circuit, each configuration data set for a particular configurable circuit specifying an operation that the particular configurable circuit has to perform from the circuit's set of operations; wherein the configurable circuits of different sections iterate through different numbers of stored configuration data sets; wherein first and second sections have the ability to store the same number of configuration data sets for each configurable circuit in the two sections, but a configurable circuit in a first section iterates through a smaller sub-set of the configuration data sets than a configurable circuit in a second section. 19. A reconfigurable IC comprising: a plurality of sections; each section including a plurality of configurable circuits; each configurable circuit for configurably performing a set of operations; and each section storing multiple configuration data sets for each configurable circuit, each configuration data set for a particular configurable circuit specifying an operation that the particular configurable circuit has to perform from the circuit's set of operations; wherein the configurable circuits of different sections iterate through different numbers of stored configuration data sets; wherein the configurable circuits include configurable interconnect circuits each for configurably performing a set of interconnect operations, wherein a configuration data set for a configurable interconnect circuit specifies an interconnect operation for the configurable interconnect circuit to perform within the configurable interconnect circuit's set of interconnect operations. 20. An electronic device comprising: a reconfigurable IC comprising: a plurality of sections; each section including a plurality of configurable circuits; each configurable circuit for configurably performing a set of operations; and each section storing multiple configuration data sets for each configurable circuit, each configuration data set for a particular configurable circuit specifying an operation that the particular configurable circuit has to perform from the circuit's set of operations; wherein the configurable circuits of different sections iterate through different numbers of stored configuration data sets; wherein the configurable circuits include configurable interconnect circuits each for configurably performing a set of interconnect operations, wherein a configuration data set for a configurable interconnect circuit specifies an interconnect operation for the configurable interconnect circuit to perform within the configurable interconnect circuit's set of interconnect operations.
