A magnifier for viewing a display of a device that is external to the magnifier, the magnifier comprising: an optical magnification mechanism structured for optically magnifying an external view there through; and structure for securing the optical magnification mechanism to an electronic device having an optically viewable display with the optical magnification mechanism arranged in a viewing relationship with the display, wherein the structure for securing the optical magnification mechanism to an electronic device further comprises a cover having a window aperture formed in a surrounding frame and having the optical magnification mechanism arranged therein, and a pair of integral side wings extending from the surrounding frame and structured to couple the optical magnification mechanism in a nonrotatable relationship with the electronic device at a fixed viewing distance relative to the viewable display thereof, and an offset mechanism structured to offset the magnification mechanism from the electronic device in a focused relationship with the display. 2. A magnifier for viewing a display of a device that is external to the magnifier, the magnifier comprising: an optical magnification mechanism structured for optically magnifying an external view there through; and structure for securing the optical magnification mechanism to an electronic device having an optically viewable display with the optical magnification mechanism arranged in a viewing relationship with the display, wherein the structure for securing the optical magnification mechanism to an electronic device further comprises a cover having a window aperture formed in a surrounding frame and having the optical magnification mechanism arranged therein, a pair of integral side wings extending from the surrounding frame and structured to couple the optical magnification mechanism at a fixed viewing distance relative to the viewable display of the electronic device, and one or more elastomeric pads arranged between the side wings and the electronic device. 3. The magnifier of claim 1 wherein the structure for securing the magnification mechanism to an electronic device further comprises a mechanism structured for gripping the electronic device. 4. A magnifier for viewing a display of a device that is external to the magnifier, the device having a display screen adjacent to a control key pad in a face plate thereof, and the magnifier comprising: an optical magnification mechanism structured for optically magnifying an external view there through; and structure for securing the optical magnification mechanism to an electronic device having an optically viewable display with the optical magnification mechanism arranged in a viewing relationship with the face plate, wherein the structure for securing the optical magnification mechanism to an electronic device further comprises a cover having a window aperture formed in a surrounding frame and having the optical magnification mechanism arranged therein, and a pair of integral side wings extending from the surrounding frame and structured to couple the optical magnification mechanism at a fixed viewing distance relative to the viewable display screen of the electronic device, the magnification mechanism being further arranged in a transverse sliding relationship with the face plate of the electronic device between a first relationship having the magnification mechanism positioned in a viewing relationship with the display screen and the surrounding frame transversely spaced away from the control key pad, and second relationship having the magnification mechanism positioned in a viewing relationship with the control key pad and the surrounding frame transversely spaced away from the display screen. 5. A magnifier for viewing a display of a device that is external to the magnifier, the magnifier comprising: an optical magnification mechanism structured for optically magnifying an external view there through; and structure for securing the optical magnification mechanism to an electronic device having an optically viewable display with the optical magnification mechanism arranged in a viewing relationship with the display, wherein the structure for securing the optical magnification mechanism to an electronic device further comprises a cover having a window aperture formed in a surrounding frame and having the optical magnification mechanism arranged therein, and a pair of integral side wings extending from the surrounding frame and structured to couple the optical magnification mechanism at a fixed viewing distance relative to the viewable display thereof, and one or more flexible clips coupled between the magnification mechanism and the electronic device. 6. The magnifier of claim 5 wherein the flexible clips further comprise extensions of the magnification mechanism structured to engage a relief formed in a surface of the electronic device and outlining the display. 7. A magnifier for viewing a display of a device that is external to the magnifier, the magnifier comprising: an optical magnification mechanism structured for optically magnifying an external view there through; and structure for securing the magnification mechanism to an electronic device having an optically viewable display with the magnification mechanism arranged in a viewing relationship with the display, wherein the structure for securing the magnification mechanism to an electronic device further comprises a band structured to encompass the electronic device and having one or more flexible clips coupled between the magnification mechanism and the electronic device, the flexible clips further comprising extensions of the band structured to engage a surface of the magnification mechanism. 8. A magnifier for viewing a display of a device that is external to the magnifier, the magnifier comprising: an optical magnification mechanism structured for optically magnifying an external view there through; and structure for securing the optical magnification mechanism to an electronic device having an optically viewable display with the optical magnification mechanism arranged in a viewing relationship with the display, wherein the structure for securing the optical magnification mechanism to an electronic device further comprises a cover having a window aperture formed in a surrounding frame and having the optical magnification mechanism arranged therein, a pair of integral side wings extending from the surrounding frame and structured to couple the optical magnification mechanism at a fixed viewing distance relative to the viewable display of the electronic device, and one or more flexible clips coupled between the magnification mechanism and the electronic device, the flexible clips comprising flexible extensions of an external surface of the electronic device and being structured to engage a surface of the magnification mechanism. 9. A magnifier for viewing a display of a device that is external to the magnifier, the magnifier comprising: an optical magnification mechanism structured for optically magnifying an external view there through; and structure for securing the magnification mechanism to an electronic device having an optically viewable display with the magnification mechanism arranged in a viewing relationship with the display, wherein the structure for securing the magnification mechanism to an electronic device further comprises a snap lock mechanism coupled between the magnification mechanism and the electronic device, the snap lock mechanism further comprising an offset mechanism comprising a permanently bendable rod. 10. A magnifier for viewing a display of a device that is external to the magnifier, the magnifier comprising: an optical magnification mechanism structured for optically magnifying an external view there through; and structure for securing the optical magnification mechanism to an electronic device having an optically viewable display with the optical magnification mechanism arranged in a viewing relationship with the display, wherein the structure for securing the optical magnification mechanism to an electronic device further comprises a cover having a window aperture formed in a surrounding frame and having the optical magnification mechanism arranged therein, and a bracket having a bridge member spacing apart a pair of side wings structured to couple the magnification mechanism relative to electronic device. 11. A magnifier for viewing a display of a device that is external to the magnifier, the magnifier comprising: an optical magnification mechanism structured for optically magnifying an external view there through; and structure for securing the magnification mechanism to an electronic device having an optically viewable display with the magnification mechanism arranged in a viewing relationship with the display, wherein the structure for securing the magnification mechanism to an electronic device further comprises a snap lock mechanism coupled between the magnification mechanism and the electronic device, the snap lock mechanism further comprising an offset mechanism comprising a permanently bendable rod. 12. A magnifier for viewing a display of a device that is external to the magnifier, the magnifier comprising: an optical magnifying lens structured for optically magnifying an external view that is optically visible there through; and structure for securing the magnifying lens to an electronic device having an optically viewable display with the magnifying lens arranged in a magnified focused viewing relationship with the display, wherein the structure for securing the magnifying lens to an electronic device further comprises a frame surrounding the magnifying lens, and a plurality of flexible clips formed on a surface of the device adjacent to the display, the clips being structured to secure the magnifying lens in substantially fixed relationship with the device display. 13. A magnifier for viewing a display of a device that is external to the magnifier, the magnifier comprising: an optical magnifying lens structured for optically magnifying an external view that is optically visible there through; and structure for securing the magnifying lens to an electronic device having an optically viewable display with the magnifying lens arranged in a magnified focused viewing relationship with the display, wherein the structure for securing the magnifying lens further comprises a plurality of flexible clips formed on a surface of the magnifying lens and structured for engaging an external surface of the device, an elastomeric pad coupled to one or more of the flexible clips. 14. A magnifier for viewing a display of a device that is external to the magnifier, the magnifier comprising: an optical magnifying lens structured for optically magnifying an external view that is optically visible there through; and structure for securing the magnifying lens to an electronic device having an optically viewable display with the magnifying lens arranged in a magnified focused viewing relationship with the display, wherein the structure for securing the magnifying lens to an electronic device further comprises a frame surrounding the magnifying lens, and a pair of integral side wings extending from the surrounding frame and structured to couple the magnifying lens at a fixed viewing distance relative to the viewable display of the electronic device, and one or more elastomeric pads coupled to the side wings and arranged for gripping an external surface of the device. 15. A magnifier for viewing a display of a device that is external to the magnifier, the magnifier comprising: an optical magnifying lens structured for optically magnifying an external view that is optically visible there through; and structure for securing the magnifying lens to an electronic device having an optically viewable display with the magnifying lens arranged in a magnified focused viewing relationship with the display, wherein the structure for securing the magnifying lens to an external surface of the device further comprises a cover having a window aperture formed in a surrounding plate with the magnifying lens arranged in viewing relationship with the window aperture, a pair of side wings structured to couple the magnifying lens relative to an external surface of the device, one or more elastomeric pads coupled to the side wings and arranged for gripping an external surface of the device, and an offset mechanism structured to offset the magnification mechanism from the device in the magnified focused viewing relationship with the display. 16. The magnifier of claim 4 wherein the magnification mechanism further comprises a membrane of flexible magnifying plastic.
