What is claimed is: 1. A method for using a cementitious composition in a wellbore comprising: pumping a cementitious slurry composition into a wellbore under pressure, wherein the cementitious slurry composition comprises Portland cement, a source of free lime and alkali ions, a source of calcium carbonate, a source of calcium sulfate, an organic component, and water present in the slurry providing a consistency of about 5 Bc to about 35 Bc and wherein the slurry has a minimum thickening time of about 90 minutes; and forming a set cement product in the wellbore, wherein the set cement product has an eight-hour compressive strength of about 200 psi (about 1.4 MPa) to about 4,400 psi (about 30 MPa). 2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the slurry has a minimum thickening time of about 90 minutes. 3. The method according to claim 2, wherein the cementitious composition has a particle size no greater than about 100 microns and a specific surface area of greater than or equal to about 220 m2/kg. 4. A method according to claim 2, wherein the wellbore comprises a casing and a liner and at least one of the casing and the liner comprises one or more cracks and/or perforations, wherein the slurry cement composition is squeezed under pressure into said one or more of the cracks and/or perforations and forms a set cement product therein. 5. The method according to claim 2, wherein the wellbore comprises an aperture to be sealed and the cementitious composition is used to seal the aperture by forming a set cement product in the aperture. 6. A method for cementing a casing and/or a liner in a wellbore comprising: admixing a cementitious composition comprising a hydraulic cement present in an amount of greater than or equal to about 50% by weight of the composition, a source of free lime and alkali ions present in an amount of less than or equal to about 25% by weight of the composition, a source of calcium carbonate present in an amount of about 3% to about 25% by weight of the composition, a source of calcium sulfate present in an amount of about 3% to about 10% by weight of the composition, and an organic component present in an amount of less than or equal to about 3% by weight, where in the presence of water, the cementitious composition forms a slurry; transferring a slurry of the cementitious composition into a space disposed between at least one surface of the casing and at least one surface of the wellbore, wherein said transferring of the slurry occurs under a pressure of greater than or equal to about 14 psi (about 0.1 MPa) to about 36,000 psi (about 250 MPa) and at a temperature of about 32 F. (about 0 C.) to about 480 F. (about 250 C.); and forming a set cement product in the space disposed between at least one surface of the casing and at least one surface of the wellbore. 7. The method according to claim 6, wherein said slurry has a consistency of about 5 Bc to about 35 Bc. 8. A method for using a cementitious composition in a well comprising: pumping a cementitious slurry composition into a wellbore under pressure, wherein the cementitious composition comprises hydraulic cement, a source of free lime and alkali ions comprising cement kiln dust, a source of calcium carbonate, a source of calcium sulfate, an organic component, and water, wherein the slurry has a minimum thickening time of about 90 minutes; and forming a set cement product in the wellbore, wherein the set cement product has an eight-hour compressive strength of about 200 psi (about 1.4 MPa) to about 4,400 psi (about 30 MPa).
