A wash cylinder or chamber for an automated cleaning station to clean an object or a person's body part includes nozzles on the interior of the cylinder, the nozzles of one embodiment comprising an increasing roll angle providing a novel spray pattern. Additionally, embodiments of the invention include fluid guidance and conveyance structures, angled nozzles, sealing structures, finger guards, nozzle ribs, wash chamber seating mechanisms and drains, and nozzle inlays having a plurality of nozzles. Also disclosed are methods of washing an object or body part using a wash cylinder or chamber and methods of assembling a wash cylinder or chamber.

What is claimed is: 1. A method, comprising: providing a cleaning device, the device comprising a rotatable wash chamber, an appendage receiving cavity in the wash chamber to receive, through an opening in the wash chamber, an appendage of a user; and engaging a nozzle inlay with a recessed portion
What is claimed is: 1. A method, comprising: providing a cleaning device, the device comprising a rotatable wash chamber, an appendage receiving cavity in the wash chamber to receive, through an opening in the wash chamber, an appendage of a user; and engaging a nozzle inlay with a recessed portion of the wash chamber, the nozzle inlay comprising a plurality of nozzles along a length of the nozzle inlay, whereby the plurality of nozzles are substantially simultaneously connected with the wash chamber. 2. The method of claim 1, further comprising: after the engaging step, removing the nozzle inlay from the recessed portion; and engaging a second nozzle inlay with the recessed portion. 3. The method of claim 1, wherein at least two of the plurality of nozzles have different pitch angles. 4. The method of claim 1, wherein at least two of the plurality of nozzles have different roll angles. 5. The method of claim 1, wherein the nozzle inlay includes more than two nozzles. 6. A method, comprising: providing a cleaning station, comprising: a body; a rotatable wash chamber associated with the body, the wash chamber including an inner member and an outer member, the wash chamber including a first end and a second end; an appendage receiving cavity located within the inner member, the appendage receiving cavity adapted for receiving at least a portion of at least one appendage of a user through an opening in the first end of the wash chamber; an annular cavity located between the inner member and the outer member, the inner member including a first surface and a second surface, the first surface facing the appendage receiving cavity and the second surface facing the annular cavity; and a nozzle inlay including a body member and a plurality of interconnected nozzles positioned along a length of the body member, the nozzle inlay being removably interconnected with a matching recessed portion of the inner member; receiving, by the plurality of nozzles, the at least one fluid from the annular cavity; and projecting the at least one fluid into the appendage receiving cavity to at least partially clean the at least a portion of the at least one appendage. 7. The method of claim 6, wherein at least two of the plurality of nozzles have different pitch angles. 8. The method of claim 6, wherein at least two of the plurality of nozzles have different roll angles. 9. The method of claim 6, wherein the nozzle inlay includes an inlet side and an outlet side, and wherein the outlet side is flush with the surface of the wash chamber. 10. The method of claim 6, wherein the recessed portion is oriented parallel to the opening of the first end of the wash chamber and is disposed proximate to the first end of the wash chamber, and wherein the plurality of nozzles associated with the nozzle inlay project fluid at an angle between 10 and 30 degrees with respect to a normal to the first surface. 11. The method of claim 6, wherein the recessed portion is oriented in a helix along a length of the inner member, and wherein the nozzles associated with the nozzle inlay project fluid at progressively steeper roll angles. 12. The method of claim 6, wherein the nozzle inlay is adapted to substantially simultaneously engage or remove the plurality of interconnected nozzles with the wash chamber. 13. A method, comprising: rotating a wash chamber, the wash chamber including a first end and a second end and defining an appendage receiving cavity, the appendage receiving cavity adapted for being accessible by and receiving at least a portion of at least one appendage of a user through an opening in the first end of the wash chamber; removably interconnecting a nozzle inlay including a plurality of interconnected nozzles with the wash chamber; and receiving, by the plurality of nozzles, at least one fluid and projecting the at least one fluid through the nozzle inlay into the appendage receiving cavity to at least partially clean the at least a portion of the at least one appendage of the user. 14. The method of claim 13, wherein at least two of the plurality of nozzles have different pitch angles. 15. The method of claim 13, wherein at least two of the plurality of nozzles have different roll angles. 16. The method of claim 13, wherein the nozzle inlay includes an inlet side and an outlet side, and wherein the outlet side is flush with the surface of the wash chamber. 17. The method of claim 13, wherein the nozzle inlay is adapted to substantially simultaneously engage or remove the plurality of interconnected nozzles with the wash chamber. 18. A method, comprising: initiating a flow of a first fluid through a fluid inlet disposed on a wash chamber of a cleaning station, the wash chamber including an inner member and an outer member, the wash chamber including a first end and a second end, at least one of the first end and the second end connected to the cleaning station, the wash chamber including an axis of rotation, the wash chamber including an appendage receiving cavity and an annular cavity, the appendage receiving cavity being located within the inner member, the appendage receiving cavity being accessible through an opening in the first end of the wash chamber and being adapted to receive the at least a portion of the appendage for washing, the annular cavity being located between the inner member and the outer member, the inner member including a first surface and a second surface, the first surface facing the appendage receiving cavity and the second surface facing the annular cavity; establishing a fluid pressure within the annular cavity; and projecting the first fluid from the annular cavity through a plurality of nozzles and into the appendage receiving cavity, the plurality of nozzles being disposed on the inner member and the fluid being projected as a result of the fluid pressure established within the annular cavity, wherein at least two of the nozzles are incorporated in a nozzle inlay, the nozzle inlay being set within the inner member; wherein the wash chamber is rotated about the axis of rotation at least during the step of projecting the fluid; wherein the outer member includes a cylinder portion and a frusto-conical portion, the frusto-conical portion including a flat surface and a sloped surface; wherein the inner member includes a cylinder portion and a frusto-conical portion, the frusto-conical portion including a flat surface and a sloped surface; wherein the outer member and the inner member are separate components that interconnect with each other to form the body of the wash chamber; and wherein the nozzle inlay is connectable to a recessed portion of the cylinder portion of the inner member, the recessed portion including a first substantially rectangular portion and a second substantially rectangular portion, the first rectangular portion having a width less than the second rectangular portion, the nozzle inlay having a first substantially rectangular section adapted to be received in the first substantially rectangular portion of the recessed portion, and the nozzle inlay having a second substantially rectangular section adapted to be received in the second substantially rectangular portion of the recessed portion. 19. The method of claim 18, wherein the nozzle inlay includes an inlet side and an outlet side, wherein the outlet side is flush with the first surface of the inner member. 20. The method of claim 18, wherein the recessed portion is oriented parallel to the opening of the first end of the wash chamber and is disposed proximate to the first end of the wash chamber, and wherein the plurality of nozzles associated with the nozzle inlay project fluid at an angle between 10 and 30 degrees with respect to a normal to the first surface. 21. The method of claim 18, wherein the recessed portion is oriented in a helix along a length of the inner member, and wherein the nozzles associated with the nozzle inlay project fluid at progressively steeper roll angles. 22. A method, comprising: initiating a flow of a first fluid through a fluid inlet disposed on a wash chamber of a cleaning station, the wash chamber including a first end and a second end, at least one of the first end and the second end connected to the cleaning station, the wash chamber including an axis of rotation, the wash chamber including an object receiving cavity, the object receiving cavity being accessible through an opening in the first end of the wash chamber and being adapted to receive the at least a portion of the object for washing; projecting the first fluid through a plurality of nozzles and into the object receiving cavity, the plurality of nozzles being disposed on the wash chamber, wherein at least two of the nozzles are incorporated in a nozzle inlay, the nozzle inlay being set within the wash chamber; wherein the wash chamber is rotated about the axis of rotation at least during the step of projecting the fluid, and wherein the nozzle inlay is connectable to a recessed portion of the wash chamber, the recessed portion including a first substantially rectangular portion and a second substantially rectangular portion, the first rectangular portion having a width less than the second rectangular portion, the nozzle inlay having a first substantially rectangular section adapted to be received in the first substantially rectangular portion of the recessed portion, and the nozzle inlay having a second substantially rectangular section adapted to be received in the second substantially rectangular portion of the recessed portion. 23. The method of claim 22, wherein the nozzle inlay includes an inlet side and an outlet side, wherein the outlet side is flush with a surface of the wash chamber. 24. The method of claim 22, wherein the recessed portion is oriented parallel to the opening of the first end of the wash chamber and is disposed proximate to the first end of the wash chamber, and wherein the plurality of nozzles associated with the nozzle inlay project fluid at an angle between 10 and 30 degrees with respect to a normal to the first surface. 25. The method of claim 22, wherein the nozzle inlay is adapted to substantially simultaneously engage or remove the plurality of interconnected nozzles with the wash chamber. 26. The method of claim 22, wherein the object includes at least one an appendage of a person and an inanimate object.
