A stroller for transporting a child includes a wheeled frame including at least two base rails interconnected by a cylindrical hub, a spine, and a bracing linkage. A basket attaches to the spine, confining the child and supporting a seat ring. The seat ring includes upper and lower connected concentric arcs having different radii and supports a seat back on its lower arc. The seat back reclines, and the seat ring rotates from center. A seat base is supported on the frame and includes a platform movable between an extended position disposed inside the seat ring and a retracted position withdrawn from the seat ring. The stroller permits the child to be safely and comfortably transported in a standing, seated, or reclined position.

What is claimed is: 1. A stroller for transporting a child, comprising: (a) a frame including, (i) a hub, and (ii) a spine connected to the hub and configured to rotate about an axis of the hub; (b) a plurality of wheels attached to the frame; (c) a standing support member attached to the frame in the region of the hub and configured to support the feet of a child in a standing position; (d) a seat base configured to be supported on the spine such that the seat base is retractable for clearance of the child in the standing position and such that the seat base when not retracted supports the child in a sitting position and a reclining position; (e) a seat back configured to be supported on the spine such that the seat back supports the child in a sitting position and a reclining position; and (f) a confinement ring for confining the child configured to be supported on the spine such that the confinement ring extends around and surrounds the area in which the child is received in the stroller when in the sitting position, the reclining position, and the standing position; (g) wherein the seat back and the confinement ring are further configured to be supported on the spine such that the seat back and the confinement ring are rotatable relative to the standing support member, whereby a child may be positioned in a first orientation having a straight forward view and a second orientation having other than a straight forward orientation; and (h) wherein the stroller may be selectively transitioned between three configurations including: (i) a seated configuration wherein the seat back is in a straight-up chair position and the seat base is in an up position for seating; (ii) a reclined configuration wherein the seat back is in a reclined position and the seat base is in the up position; and (iii) a standing configuration wherein the seat base is in a down position proximate the spine thereby providing clearance for child to stand on the standing support member. 2. A stroller according to claim 1, wherein the seat base is further configured to be supported on the spine such that the seat base is rotatable relative to the standing support member. 3. A stroller according to claim 1, wherein the spine includes a handle located at a top end thereof, and wherein the spine includes telescoping sections such that the height of the handle is adjustable. 4. A stroller according to claim 1, further comprising at least two base rails and a bracing linkage that extends between and interconnects an upper portion of the spine to the base rails. 5. A stroller according to claim 4, wherein the bracing linkage and the spine form a triangular support frame. 6. A stroller according to claim 1, wherein the standing support member comprises a resilient support surface. 7. A stroller according to claim 6, wherein the standing support member comprises a trampoline. 8. A stroller according to claim 1, further comprising a sling for supporting the child in at least the standing position. 9. A stroller, comprising: (a) a movable frame, including (i) a base having a pair of base rails, each base rail having a wheel located at each of its opposite ends, and (ii) a central support member disposed between and connected to the pair of base rails and extending upwardly therefrom; (b) a seat supported by the central support member, the seat including a seat base and a seat back, wherein the seat base is configured to pivot relative to the central support member between an extended position for sitting and a retracted position for standing, and wherein the seat back is configured to pivot relative to the central support member between an upright position and a reclined position; and (c) a standing platform located under the seat and supported by the frame; (d) a confinement member supported on the central support member and surrounding and defining an area for receiving a stroller occupant when sitting, reclining, and standing, the confinement member configured to rotate relative to the base rails about an axis extending generally perpendicular to the standing platform; (e) wherein the stroller may be selectively placed in one of three configurations including: (i) a seated configuration, wherein the seat back is in the upright position and the seat base is in the extended position for seating; (ii) a reclined configuration wherein the seat back is in the reclined position and the seat base is in the extended position; and (iii) a standing configuration wherein the seat back is in an upright position and the seat base is in the retracted position and is located proximate the central support member whereby clearance is provided to allow a stroller occupant to stand on the platform. 10. The stroller of claim 9, further comprising a sling for support of the stroller occupant in the standing configuration. 11. The stroller of claim 9, wherein the seat back is further configured to rotate relative to the base rails about an axis extending generally perpendicular to the standing platform. 12. The stroller of claim 9, wherein the seat base is further configured to rotate relative to the base rails about an axis extending generally perpendicular to the standing platform. 13. The stroller of claim 9, wherein the central support member includes a handle located at a top end thereof, and wherein the central support member includes telescoping sections such that the height of the handle is adjustable. 14. The stroller of claim 9, further comprising a bracing linkage that extends between and interconnects an upper portion of the central support member to the base rails.
