The present invention relates to a method for operating a wind turbine with the steps: detection of the values of predetermined operating parameters by means of suitable sensors, detection of at least one predetermined initial condition, comparison of the detected values to stored values of the operating parameters. The invention further relates to a wind turbine for implementing the method. Therefore, the object of the present invention is, to be able to adapt the operation of a wind turbine to changes using a method of the type named above, such that when the detected parameter values deviate from the stored parameter values, as a function of the initial condition, either the stored parameter values are adapted to the detected parameter values or the operation of the wind turbine is influenced as a function of the detected parameter values. In this way, the invention is based on the knowledge that, from a pragmatic view, the formation of ice on a rotor blade is also a (temporary, meteorologically-related) change to the rotor blade shape. From this it follows that the formation of ice on the rotor blades always leads to a change of the aerodynamic profile and thus to a negative effect of the output of the wind turbine. However, deviations from this shape and thus deviations in the magnitude of the generated output also result just from manufacturing-dependent deviations of the rotor blades from the predetermined optimum shape and from gradual soiling of the rotor blades during operation.

A method for detecting ice accretion on rotor blades of a wind power installation during operation of the wind power installation, the method comprising: detecting values of predetermined operating parameters of the wind power installation by means of sensors; detecting a value of at least a first predetermined boundary condition, including an outside temperature in an area of the wind power installation; comparing the detected values of the predetermined operating parameters with stored values of the predetermined operating parameters, wherein when the detected values of the predetermined operating parameters deviate from the stored values of the predetermined operating parameters and as a function of the detected value of at least the first predetermined boundary condition, including the outside temperature in the area of the wind power installation, either adapting the stored values of the predetermined operating parameters to the detected values of the predetermined operating parameters or modifying the operation of the wind turbine as a function of the detected values of the predetermined operating parameters. 2. The method according to claim 1, wherein when at least the first predetermined boundary condition exceeds a limit value, the stored values of the predetermined operating parameters are adapted and, when at least the first predetermined boundary condition falls below the limit value, modifying the operation of the wind power installation. 3. The method according to claim 1, wherein adapting the stored values of the predetermined operating parameters is effected with a predetermined weighting of an amount of deviation from the stored values of the predetermined operating parameters. 4. The method according to claim 1, wherein the detected values of the predetermined operating parameters and/or the detected value of at least the first predetermined boundary condition are detected during a predeterminable time period. 5. The method according to claim 1, wherein the values of the predetermined operating parameters and/or the value of at least the first predetermined boundary condition are detected during a predetermined number of measurement cycles. 6. The method according to claim 1, wherein the values of the predetermined operating parameters vary as a function of a second boundary condition. 7. The method according to claim 6, wherein when a value exceeds a limit value of the second boundary condition, values of first operating parameters are used and, when the value falls below the limit value of the second boundary condition, values of second parameters are used. 8. The method according to claim 1, wherein modifying the operation of the wind turbine as a function of the detected values of the predetermined operating parameters includes stopping the wind turbine. 9. A device for detecting ice accretion on rotor blades of a wind power installation comprising: means for detecting values of predetermined operating parameters and at least one value of a boundary condition, including an outside temperature in an area of the wind power installation, and for comparing the detected values of the predetermined operating parameters with stored values of the operating parameters; and means for either adapting the stored values of the operating parameters or modifying the operation of the wind power installation as a function of the detected values of the predetermined operating parameters when the detected values of the predetermined operating parameters deviate from the stored values of the operating parameters and as a function of the detected at least one value of the boundary condition, including the outside temperature in the area of the wind power installation. 10. The device of claim 9 further comprising a microprocessor. 11. A method comprising: retrieving a stored operating parameter value of a wind power installation; detecting one or more boundary condition values, at least one of the detected boundary condition values being an outside temperature in an area of the wind power installation; and modifying either the stored operating parameter value or the operation of a wind turbine of the wind power installation based on the detected one or more boundary condition values, including the outside temperature in the area of the wind power installation. 12. The method of claim 11, further comprising: modifying the stored operating parameter value when the outside temperature is at least two degrees Celsius; and modifying the operation of the wind turbine of the wind power installation when the outside temperature is less than two degrees Celsius. 13. The method of claim 11, further comprising: detecting a measured operating parameter value of the wind power installation; generating a parameter comparison between the measured operating parameter value and the stored operating parameter value; and modifying either the stored operating parameter value or the operation of a wind turbine of the wind power installation based on the operating parameter comparison. 14. The method of claim 11, wherein modifying the operation of the wind turbine includes stopping the wind turbine.
