초록

A containment system includes a vapor resistant container for a material, and a seal for the vapor resistant container.

The invention claimed is: 1. A containment system comprising:a vapor resistant container having an inner package for receiving contents including a plurality of mercury devices, the container including a flexible film having a foil laminate;a seal for the vapor resistant container; andan outer container having a cardboard wall and a formed end flap, the outer container having a first flat configuration in which the end flap is unsealed and having a second configuration in which the outer container is adapted to receive the vapor resistant container, the inner package, the seal, and the contents of the vapor resistant container, and in which the end flap is folded and secured; andwherein the vapor resistant container and the seal are configured to have an O2 transmission rate of less than 70 cc/100 in2/24 hours.
