The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said adjustment member is capable of controlling protrusion of said cutting end from said tip portion of said nipple end portion. 4. The apparatus according to claim 3, wherein said adjustment member further comprises a threaded screw having an end portion contacting said tubular punch, and a stationary portion capable of engaging with threads on said threaded screw, wherein said stationary portion is in effective mechanical contact with said nipple end portion. 5. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein said adjustment member comprises an adjustment screw. 6. An apparatus to extract live hair follicles from mammalian skin tissue, the apparatus comprising: a nipple end portion having a first end portion and a tip portion, said nipple end portion having a length dimension and further including a bore disposed therethrough having an axis parallel to said length dimension, said bore comprising an inner surface within said nipple end portion;a tubular punch means adapted to extract one or more of said live hair follicles from said skin tissue via said bore, wherein said tubular punch means is slidably disposed within said bore, said tubular punch means comprising a cutting end to pierce said skin tissue;an adjustment means in communication with said tubular punch means to set a distance by which at least a portion of said tubular punch means extends beyond said tip portion of said nipple end portion to a first fixed length, a force to be provided from said adjustment means to said tubular punch to adjust said distance to a second fixed length in response to said adjustment means being adjusted from a first position to a second position; andstabilizer means disposed within an interior of said apparatus between said nipple end portion and said adjustment means, at least a portion of said tubular punch means extending through a stabilizer bore of said stabilizer means. 7. An apparatus comprising: a punch adapted to be inserted into skin for extraction of one or more live hair follicles;an adjustment member in communication with said punch to set a distance by which at least a portion of said punch extends beyond a tip portion of said apparatus to a first fixed length, a force to be provided from said adjustment member to said punch to adjust said distance to a second fixed length in response to said adjustment member being adjusted from a first position to a second position;a surface fixedly coupled to said punch adapted to abut said skin and limit insertion of said punch into said skin to a predetermined depth; anda stabilizer disposed within an interior of said apparatus between a nipple end portion and said adjustment member, at least a portion of said punch extending through a stabilizer bore of said stabilizer. 8. The apparatus of claim 7, wherein said punch is adjustable relative to said surface to alter said predetermined depth. 9. An apparatus comprising: a punch adapted to be inserted into skin for extraction of one or more live hair follicles;an adjustment member in communication with said punch to set a distance by which at least a portion of said punch extends beyond a tip portion of said apparatus to a first fixed length, a force to be provided from said adjustment member to said punch to adjust said distance to a second fixed length in response to said adjustment member being adjusted from a first position to a second position;a surface fixedly coupled to said punch adapted to abut said skin and limit insertion of said punch into said skin to a predetermined depth and wherein said punch is adjustable relative to said surface to alter said predetermined depth and wherein said predetermined depth is adjustable at least in response to movement of an actuator; anda stabilizer disposed within an interior of said apparatus between a nipple end portion and said adjustment member, at least a portion of said punch extending through a stabilizer bore of said stabilizer. 10. An apparatus comprising: a punch adapted to be inserted into skin for extraction of one or more live hair follicles;an adjustment member in communication with said punch to set a distance by which at least a portion of said punch extends beyond a tip portion of said apparatus to a first fixed length, a force to be provided from said adjustment member to said punch to adjust said distance to a second fixed length in response to said adjustment member being adjusted from a first position to a second position; anda depth stop disposed adjacent to said punch adapted to abut said skin and limit insertion of said punch into said skin to a predetermined depth; anda stabilizer disposed within an interior of said apparatus between a nipple end portion and said adjustment member, at least a portion of said punch extending through a stabilizer bore of said stabilizer. 11. The apparatus of claim 10, wherein said punch is adjustable relative to said depth stop to alter said predetermined depth. 12.
