The computer implemented method of claim 1, wherein adjusting the food order comprises an adjustment to a content of the food order. 3. The computer implemented method of claim 1, wherein adjusting the food order comprises an adjustment to a time of delivery for the food order. 4. The computer implemented method of claim 1, wherein adjusting the food order comprises an adjustment to a location of delivery for the food order. 5. The computer implemented method of claim 1, wherein the food order is delivered at one of the point of departure, a point of arrival, or a point en route. 6. The computer implemented method of claim 5, wherein the point en route is one of a point of departure or a point of arrival for a connecting carrier conveyance. 7. The computer implemented method of claim 1, wherein the carrier charges the traveler a surcharge for the food order. 8. The computer implemented method of claim 1, wherein the carrier transports travelers by means of the carrier conveyance. 9. The computer implemented method of claim 1, wherein information regarding the food order is stored in a profile of preferences for the traveler in a storage device. 10. A data processing system for creating a food order for a traveler, the data processing system comprising: a storage device connected to a bus, wherein the storage device contains a computer usable program code; anda processor connected to the bus, wherein the processor is configured to execute the computer usable program code to display by a carrier a list of non-carrier food providers to the traveler on a website of the carrier for use in ordering food items; receive by the carrier a selection of a food provider by the traveler from the displayed list of non-carrier food providers on the website, wherein the traveler selects food items for the food order from available food items of the selected food provider, and wherein the selected food provider provides the food items for the traveler; receive by the carrier the food order of the selected food provider from the traveler; determine by the carrier whether the food order of the selected food provider includes one or more food items provided by the carrier during travel; modify by the carrier the food order of the selected food provider to remove the one or more food items provided by the carrier during travel from the food order of the selected food provider in response to determining that the food order of the selected food provider does include one or more food items provided by the carrier during travel, wherein the one or more food items removed from the food order of the selected food provider are provided by the carrier; retrieve by the carrier a real-time travel itinerary of scheduled departure and arrival times and locations for the traveler; determine whether the real-time travel itinerary of scheduled departure and arrival travel times and locations for the traveler has changed; adjust by the carrier the food order of the selected food provider in accordance with changes to the real-time travel itinerary of scheduled departure and arrival travel times and locations for the traveler in response to determining that the real-time travel itinerary of scheduled departure and arrival travel times and locations for the traveler has changed; send by the carrier a notification of an adjustment to the food order of the selected food provider to the traveler in response to adjusting the food order of the selected food provider in accordance with the changes to the real-time travel itinerary of scheduled departure and arrival travel times and locations for the traveler; scan by a scanning device of the carrier a carrier conveyance travel ticket for the traveler at a point of departure prior to the traveler boarding a carrier conveyance; determine whether the food order of the selected food provider is ready for delivery when the carrier conveyance ticket for the traveler is scanned by the scanning device; transmit to the scanning device an indication that the food order of the selected food provider is ready for delivery in response to determining that the food order of the selected food provider is ready for delivery; and indicate on the scanning device that the food order of the selected food provider is ready for delivery, wherein the food order of the selected food provider that does not include the one or more food items provided by the carrier during travel is delivered by personnel to the traveler in response to the indication. 20.
